So great to be surprised by a hotel you picked just because it was en route on your long journey. Unique to be surrounded by so many woods and walking oaths and even a wood just for dogs to run free. I will be back in the summer - oh and breakfast was knock out good for once thanks neal
I choose the Cantharel for it's location, we stayed in other Van der Valk hotels before which were all very good but the Cantharel is the best we stayed in sofar. Staff more that helpfull and polite. Food was excellent.
Excellent property in central location. Very nice hotel with very good rooms, excellent spa (fantastic, a real must), good restaurant (especially for breakfast) and very easy access. Could not explore it myself but I was told that there is also a nice forest nearby.
Really nice hotel with lots of facilities including free car park, gym, swimming pool etc. restaurant and bar attached to hotel very nice food. At Xmas time was very atmospheric with the trees and lights etc and staff was always helpful. Highly recommended.
Lovely rooms and the restaurant is amazing. I love eating breakfast at this hotel. Coffee machines available to use.
Love the bathroom area and dimmable lighting. Slept really well = comfy and quiet beds.
Excellent service.
Room to improve: Dusty headboard. 1 Broken lamp. But that is it. Everything else is in order.
