We stayed here 2 nights. Happy we chose this hotel. It's in walking distance to central station and all major tourist attractions. You can also park your car 5 minutes from the hotel.
We had a nice, comfortable and clean room on the 3rd floor with a small balcony and a open bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower and toilet. Bed was big and comfortable but just wished it didn't have separate mattresses and separate covers, not very nice if you want to cuddle at night;also the room is too bright, light comes in from the shower, the toilet and the small window at the ceiling in the bathroom, this time a year it's light outside from 4:30 untill 22,so nights are short and we like sleeping in a dark room. I also really missed having a fridge in my room. I think there used to be one but it was gone. Pity.
It also would be nice if the receptionist is at her place more often. We came in and out a lot during the day time and the hotel was often empty, just doesn't feel welcoming or safe, especially if you leave your luggage in the office. Nor sure if the receptionist also does other things, like the bar and restaurant.
Overall we did enjoy your hotel and would definitely recommend it, hopefully you are able to do something about the constructive criticism.

Superb location in a quiet area between the train station and the city centre. Modern and cozy with a tranquil atmosphere. Great breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish I could give five stars, but unfortunately the reception was not manned after 10pm and there was no minibar in the room and nowhere to buy anything to drink or any snacks, not even in the immediate vicinity.

The Asgard Hotel is located on an unassuming street more or less exactly between the Groningen railway station and the city centre. It's in a quiet area with no pretentions.
The hotel facade is of simple red bricks and breathes a homey atmosphere.
The lobby is well lit and roomy with really excellent and very quick check-in. Off the lobby is a rather austere breakfasting room, a pleasant bar, and a hallway leading to stairs and an elevator to the rooms; there's also a well-lit function room.
My room was wonderfully spacious and immaculately clean. Very comfortable double bed; good writing desk; smart and clean bathroom; even a small balcony, It was fitted with all the necessary electronics and a good wifi connection.
The continental breakfast was rather simple but quite sufficient.
All in all: a spaciously laid-back hotel with no frills but comfortable with an affable staff.

Room Tip: The street is quiet; but the rooms at the back are best for quietude (but draw the blinds because other windows are quite close by.

Very nice cozy hotel with delicious organic breakfast. I would give five stars if there were bath robes and something to eat in the room. You could offer some chocolates in the room for instance. Small changes will make it 5 stars. Thank you for the service.

In a quiet place, close to the train station , and the museum. Nice, comfortable rooms. I stayed four times in differents rooms and they are perfect! .They have a boiler and you can prepare your tea ,coffee or chocolate as you please. You can also leave your car in the parking and hire a bike.

Room Tip: I stayed there in four differents rooms, and all of them are perfect
