Conveniently located in the hub of all the excitement. 5-10 minutes walk from the Amsterdam Central Station, and just a street away from the infamous red light district. Food can be found just a few steps away from the entrance, and a few awesome pastry shops are just around the corner. Very nice host whom introduced us to what's around the area and worth checking out. Wifi is provided as well!

Strongly recommended! One thing to note however, will be the steep flights of stairs (3 levels to be exact), so it would be of a little hassle if you have a big luggage.

Room Tip: The backroom consists of a double bed, and is pretty cosy!

The B&B is perfectly located in the centre of Amsterdam. The larger bedroom, which we used was great, although this was above the street which occasionally suffered noise from the street below. The kitchen is very well appointed and the supplied diy breakfasts more than adequate with excellent gas hob, microwave, fridge, coffee and tea making facilities. Our host was very attentive and provide lots of info and looked after us very well.

Room Tip: Front bedroom for space and airiness, back bedroom for quietness

I spent two nights at Kuwadro B&B and I had an excellent impression. I was greeted by friendly host whom was very helpful. The host recommended us some places to visit in Amsterdam and also began chatting with us. The place has an excellent location with restaurants and bar just down the road. No doubt can be a bit noisy but it doesn't cause any issue to us. The room was clean and tidy. I was hesitated in the beginning because we have to share bathroom with another guests but my worries were too much. The bathroom was equally clean. There was a coffee machine and daily breakfast provided. Wifi signal was strong. No complains and happy to be back again.

The Kuwadro is a sparse, but clean and pleasant B and B in the heart of Amsterdam.

The down sides: it is on the edge of the Red Light district, above a rather active night club, so at night it is very loud outside--especially on the weekends. And in the morning the detritus of partying is everywhere. The stairs are narrow, winding, and long--3-4 stories of climbing to get to the B and B, and of course, no elevator. The rooms are not en suite, and the toilet is rather in a very small room. The breakfast is entirely self-serve: each guest gets a shelf in the fridge with some cheese and meat in a container, and one can make eggs and/ or toast if one wishes. But there is no one around to set anything out and one does need to clean up after oneself. The room I was in needed some kind of a desk or a decent chair in which one could sit and work (I was there on business).

The up-sides: the rooms are comfortable, the beds are good, and everything is clean and pleasant. The location is very central to the train station, Red Light district, and Damrack street. The B and B itself is very quiet (other than the partying noises from outside which started around 8 PM and continued until 2-3 AM).
