We recently stayed here after trying to find accommodation on a very busy weekend.
My partner booked this before I had looked at it. As we live in a house filled with our children (all in their 20's) trying to get 5 minutes peace is difficult and was looking forward to some alone time.
When we arrived I realised we would be staying in the owners accommodation with them. I was a little worried and uncomfortable with the idea, my feelings were quickly diminished. We were left to our own devices but could always contact the owners day or night.
We were greeted by the owner who welcomed us and helped us with our luggage up the stairs. He went through all the information needed , plus pointed out on a map which he provided, all of the usual interesting areas plus all we were interested in seeing.
Our room was well equipped with our own bathroom which was clean and modern.
The room was lovely and bright with two large windows that opened onto the street below. There was a unit with a coffee machine, fresh coffee, kettle, teabags and cereals etc. There was a little drawer with cutlery in it and plates and cups underneath. In the fridge we found milk, fresh orange, fresh pastries and bread with butter, cheese, meats and pate. The fridge was freshly stocked each day.
The road outside is vibrant with some noise of a night but won't keep you awake.
There was a market on the Saturday along the street. Colourful stalls filled with clothes, bags, shoes, kitchen equipment and plenty of delicious smelling food.
I loved our stay here and would highly recommend a stay here. The area is vibrant and pretty.
The people are lovely and Amsterdam is a city with a social acceptance of everyone. Such an amazing city.
One thing I would say is pack lightly as the stairs are tradionally steep.
Thank you Johnny and Goran for a delightful stay.

Couldn't fault this bed and breakfast. We was greeted by Goran one of the owners who showed us to our room, sat us down and provided us with information about the city and popular locations to visit.

Our room was facing the warmostraat street, a stones throw away from the old church and was spacious.
The warmostraat is a busy street and on Friday and Saturday you can here music from the club below. This didn't bother us one bit and you could Barely here it.

The kitchen and bathroom were both shared, breakfast was restocked every morning and had a selection of meat, cheese, jams etc. Fresh juice was also available.

The apartment has a very modern feel to it and Goran has pictures of his art work up which I thought was a cool touch.

All in all the Bed and breakfast was fantastic and in a great location. We look forward to returning.

A big thank you from Keiran and Rachel.

Stayed here recently for three nights. The location is amazing. We had the front room and were a bit worried about the noise but we didn't find it a problem at all. The windows are triple glazed so don't let much noise in and the noise we did hear we expected as we booked in a city centre location! We were met by a very friendly and knowledgeable host who showed us all the areas on the map we wanted to go. Breakfast is serve yourself and was lovely.
The only small things I wanted to mention....
You have a shared bathroom (we were fully aware of this when we booked) however the lock doesn't work. Not ideal.
The stairs are steep and the top section isn't lit. Again not ideal.
It was hot when we stayed and they had a little fan which was fine but an air conditioner would have been very welcome.
Overall a fantastic place to stay. Very clean, everything you need and great location. Like I said in my title - a few tiny adjustments and it would be perfect.

Very clean room but rather compact. We had a front room overlooking the street which even with the windows shut was very noisy until the early hours of the morning and because we couldn't open them the room became very hot. We wouldn't like to be there in the height of the summer. They provided a very nice breakfast with a good selection of food and a proper coffee machine. The only drawback with the bathroom was the sink which is too small to be practical.

Room tip: Ask for one at the rear.

I booked the B&B based on the good reviews and wasn't disappointed. We were welcomed into the apartment by Goran who was lovely and made us feel at home. The location was ideal for what we wanted as a young couple visiting Amsterdam, it was just a short stroll to Dam Square and we had shops and restaurants on our doorstop. The apartment itself was lovely, we had the room with a balcony and had a great view of Amsterdam from our bed (which was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in) The kitchen was fully stocked with bread, cheese, meats, hot and cold drinks which was a really nice surprise and wasn't something we were expecting. The fact we could wake up and make breakfast in our own time and have a coffee on the balcony before we set off for the day really made us feel at home. The apartment was cleaned while we were away and the fridge stocked again so we really couldn't have asked for anything more. This was a perfect apartment to stay in for our trip and would recommend it couples/friends who want to be close to the centre.
