Walking into this movie theater you feel like you are going to the opera. It plays movies in their original version which is great for anyone visiting Amsterdam.

We are just back from our trip to the Tuschinski theatre. It is an absolute must see attraction. It is an audio tour and you can take your time wandering around from 9am till 11am. The audio tour is very informative & the staff are very friendly. You will be surprised by the old style theatre and can imagine yourself going back in time.

I Was strolling around wih no real destination in my head when suddenly i was faced with this "extravagant" facade that looked like a theatre of sort. This was my introduction to Pathe Tuschinski Theatre, from street-point-of-view.
Of course i had inside and more stunning view grab my attention, and i was headed to the ticket booth only to see that the most-related movie to my "taste" was "Beauty-And-The-Beast" (on my...)...
That was when i suddenly realized that the reception/entrance hall was garnered with Beast's Red Roses. They even installed a crystal dome with single rose in it.
Well, for my major purpose was to enjoy the building, i had the premission to roaming into inside of he old section (minus Major Hall, it was in the use as conference room of sort). And i didnt dissapointed to see that , because of the great preservation, everything looked original as it should be, and i got the feeling, the real aura on how the people in "that era" enjoyed such entertainment in this majestic building.

Walking from Muntplein into Rembrandtplein you will pass this beautiful theatre that looks amazing.
Theatre Tuschinski was commissioned by Abraham Icek Tuschinski in 1921 ,built in a combination of art nouveau and art deco styles of architecture,it's a stunning looking theatre that certainly commands your attention.
We were heading into Rembrandtplein to visit some pubs and passed this theatre,we never went in but I took some nice photos of the beautifully illuminated facade which looks like a throwback to the jazz age.
Easy to find on Reguliersbreestraat and most definitely well worth checking out.
