I made a reservation on line for April 2025 of 2 rooms for 5 days each for our family.
I intended to book both rooms on my computer at the "free cancellation rate".
I am an elderly 75 year old and not very good on computers and can make errors,
I booked the first room at that rate, but , by accident, a few seconds later I booked the second room on the "no free cancellation" rate. When I noticed my mistake 10 minutes later I phoned up to inform them of my error and requested the second booking be changed to be also the "free cancellation" rate ". Their response was a flat " NO, the booking CANNOT be changed ! "
I find this to be disgraceful service when it is CLEARLY obvious that a genuine mistake was made when one booking is for one rate and the other booking made at the same moment is for a different rate and that they were informed of the error immediately.
