A real treat to get this much space in a city hotel, in particular a city like Amsterdam with a shortage of space. Without doubt a 4 star if not more. Room had flat screen tv, small table and 2 chairs, kettle, mugs, tea, coffee, sugar (but no milk) and a fridge with a mini bar (expensive). View from window wasn't very interesting but the decor of the room was lovely. Bathroom has a bath and an over bath power shower, plenty of toiletries and towels and a hair dryer. Hotel breakfast is extra and costs €17.50 each but is excellent value as it's all you can eat and includes just about anything anyone could ever want. Champagne and fresh squeezed oranges, salads (fruit & veg) cheeses, hams, eggs, bacon the works. Really enjoyed it. The staff are really friendly and helpful with excellent English and nothing was too much trouble for them. Although it is a more expensive hotel it was worth it as all the hotels near Dam Square are expensive but this one had loads of space and 2 lifts so no steep stairs to deal with. A bit of luxury and the bed was so comfy I was asleep in record time. The location was spot on, a few minutes walk from Dam Square and within easy reach of all the trams and trains. Thanks

If your looking for a very average ,no frills , over priced 4 star hotel in central Amsterdam your love this ... The good reviews on here can only be from punters who have not stayed in any other 4 star hotel in Amsterdam, for if they had they would know like me this is just a average hotel that is need of a refurbishment. Told by manger refurbishment is not for another 5 years. So best stay clear of this place for the next five years.

Room Tip: The Hästens Junior Suite I would say the worst suite in Amsterdam ... no soundproofing from the out side you will not sleep . you have been warned. The whirlpool bath does not work

The hotel lies perfect for all the "must see" places in Amsterdam. Comfortably close to the Central station and also close to one of the main attracyions in Ams- The red light district.
Rooms clean and well kept, the staff friendly and efficient. Free WIFI. The price of the breakfast is on the steep side, so just turn left from the entrance - walk 30 meters and you have 2.3 quite ok places to get your morning coffe and breakfast.

Me and my fiancé decided to go to Amsterdam for his 22nd Birthday so we went between 23rd- 26th February. Weather wasn't amazing but can you expect at that time of year?

We stayed at Inntel Hotel for our stay, lovely hotel and nicely decorated I'd say. Lovely little fire in the lounge that we waited by for our flight as the weather was awful outside. Hotel staff are really friendly and more than happy to help with luggage etc.

Unfortunately we arrived around 10 in the morning and our rooms weren't going to be ready until 3pm but thankfully they have a store room to hold our bags in.

Really central location, 5 minute walk from the centre of Amsterdam. All sorts of excursions near by.

The good thing about the location is that it's out of the main active parts of Amsterdam so it was quiet at night to help have a good night's sleep.

Bad things to say about the hotel, we weren't aware we were going to be charged 50 Euros just incase we used any of the mini bar in the room, we were happy about the fact they would refund this back to us once we checked out but there was no mention atall of the city tax we had to pay. We were shocked by this as my fiancé has been to Amsterdam before and didn't pay city tax.

Apart from this, I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as there were other lovely little cafés around town which were alot cheaper.

Would recommend BaBa coffee shop if it's going to be that kinda trip. Really chilled out.

Bulldog is far too busy and crowded. We left as soon as we walked in.

Would definitely advise people to go to both the Heineken Experience and The Ice Bar. Loved these trips and i'm not one for beer usually!!

All in all, great trip and can't wait to go again in the Summer.

Dear guest,

Thank you so much for spending your fiancé his 22nd Birthday at Inntel Hotels and for taking the time to share your thoughts with us as well. We are pleased you mentioned our staff as really helpful ! They truly are amazing, so happy to be of service. We are very sorry that you did not was aware of the city tax. This is an obligated tax for all hotels in The Netherlands. You should have been informed by your travel agent or booking engine. If you like you can send me an e-mail (sket@inntelhotels.nl) with your reservation information so I can check the website. We hope to see you again on your next special trip to Amsterdam!

With best regards,
Sales Coordinator
