A hidden jewel! All makes sense, the staff. the food and the rooms: all top of the bill. The passion in which this hotel is managed and executed is unheard of. From check in to check out it was a feast. For me as a seasoned traveler the experience is a well deserved a 10!!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, Team Huis Vermeer are very friendly and also very professional, my room was excellent very comfortable, quiet and easy to relax. Breakfast was a perfect blend of quality and set me up beautifully for the days i was in Deventer.
The Huis Vermeer experience is exceptional; as a frequent business traveler of many years spanning many countries I can honestly say this hotel ranks as one of the best for overall satisfaction. Of particular note all the staff who make the stay so welcoming and enjoyable to the comfort levels of the rooms and also the extreme high end quality of the restaurant. Great stay for me. Very well appointed room, with all the amenities needed. Nice bathroom with a window. Facing the courtyard maybe not the best view but it was very quiet and this was important to me. Overall all the hotel is very well maintained. I had a dinner and it was good, great service and honest pricing. Breakfast it is a bit odd, you don’t get to choose much but for me was also very good and service was fast. Fresh orange juice. Parking - for me not a big deal leave the car on their garage, it is some 300 meters away, just be aware if it rains no parking available nearby but you are allowed to drop your baggage off. Staff was perfect
This hotel gives guests the total wow feeling. It starts with the historic building with just eleven beautiful rooms with comfortable Deventer made Auping beds. Breakfast served at your table with bubbles in a spacious room with a lot of natural light. When in Deventer... go Hotel Huis Vermeer!
