I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is immaculate and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My room opened up to a deck beside a canal which was a lovely place to enjoy my morning coffee and evening glass of wine.
While the hotel is located approximately 3.8 km from the Village centre, it’s a pretty and easy bike ride into the Village. I rented a bike both days I was there and the bike made it very easy to get around. The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful and I was glad I chose this location rather than staying in the Village centre.
My only complaint and the reason for only 4 stars was that the air in my room didn’t work any of the 3 nights I stayed which made for a too warm room for sleeping no. Staff tried to remedy the situation but it would work for a few hours and then break down. The room doesn’t have any windows that open so the choice was no sleep in an overly warm room or take your chances with leaving the sliding door to the deck open.
The food in the restaurant is pretty much on par with the food I had at other restaurants in the Village: okay but not a foodie paradise. The restaurant itself is very pretty with a lovely deck.
