If we were not told it was the Stock Exchange, we would never have known it. you could not go in it, it was all blocked off. Almost looked like it was abandoned

Allegorical figures adorn its edifice and its columns do stand out flanked by lions. However, it steps are usually full of tourists sitting having lunch and I am not sure that it is ever open inside. Sadly, also it fronts a very busy car thoroughfare. Still its nice to wander around its sides.

It is closed and has been for a number of years. Not far from the Grand Place. The Ionic columns and architecture are the only thing of interest.

Not my first visit to the Stock Exchange, yet its beauty still captivates me.
It really pays to go and check it out.

This building was the first one I saw when I got out of the Station (took the Tram from Brussels Midi Station to the historic center). It was closed when I arrived so I was not sure if it is accessible to tourist or not.

Note that this attraction is about 10 minutes away from the Grand Place, the center of historic Brussels. Near it are St. Nicholas Church, shops, cafes, etc.
