The place is "must visit" in Brussel, especially when you want to taste loads of beers(around 130 different one) or vodkas(around 500 different brands) and socialise. Place is full of different friendly nationalities, really easy please to hang out with people especially next to the bar. We went there for a beer and stayed 5 hours sitting next to the bar and hanging out with the others! Good please to expand horizons!

We couldn't find this place in the rain on our last trip and weren't about to make that mistake again. We went early on our first day - had several great beers and some Orval abbey cheese. It was spectacular and came with nearly a whole loaf of bread (and some small sides). A wonderful experience!

Delirium Monasterium is one of my favourite taverns to visit in the very busy and popular Delirium Village.
This is a small tavern and is part of the great Delirium complex which is huge,this is a more intimate tavern with stained glass windows,great decor and furnishings including a cool serving bar and plenty of seating options,the beer range is excellent and the staff really knowledgeable about their beers and how to serve a good beer.
We were here on a Thursday afternoon and this place was busy with a great atmosphere.
We were greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a couple of beers,we opted to have a beer from Brewery Val Dieu and these beers were served in tip top condition,we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular tavern.
This is a tavern I eagerly look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to Brussels,it gets better and better with each visit.
Our beers were outstanding and although I really enjoy the local brews such as Jupiler or Maes beer it's just so nice enjoying a quality beer.
We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Delirium Monasterium is really easy to locate ,it's located in the Quartier L'Iliot Sacre,you walk through Rue De Bouchers out onto Impasse De La Fidelite were you will find this tavern.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Saturday,10am till 4am.
Sunday,10am till 2am.
A great tavern and well worth checking out.

The impasse de la Fidelité is an interesting little street off the rue des bouchers. There are several bars on the street. The Delirium Monastarium is on the corner and is great for people watching. The bar is cosy with wooden benches and tables. There is a good selection of beers and it was not as packed as the other Delirium bar.

Get spot for great beer - okay so some of the better stuff isn't cheap but the service is quick the glassware clean and the beer as fresh as it comes. A few of the guillotine 9% blondes and dinner in the city. Great night!
