Excellent location - 3 hours driving time from Eurotunnel at Calais and only 5 minutes from the motorway. Were able to day trip to France, Luxembourg and Germany as well as many places in Belgium (caves at Han-sur-Lesse do deserve their Michelin 3-star rating). 10 minute walk to the village shop (Spar) which is open on Sunday mornings (useful to know if you arrive late on Saturday as the big supermarkets in Namur are all closed on Sunday). Most of the time there were 7 of us and the property was more than adequate and for a couple of days we were joined by another 3 friends and it still felt as if we had plenty of space. A small tip - segregation of rubbish for recycling is slightly complicated - ask the owner for some extra colour-coded rubbish bags as we ran out and couldn't work out where to get more.
We arrived in a group of 12 and found the cottage very homely, clean, tidy. The rooms were very big and there was dining table, pingpong table, dining table, lounge area with large sofas and open wood fire. The cottage was nicely supplied with tissues, plates, cups, and categorised bins. The owners also provided a large folder with Wifi password and suggestions of what to do in the surrounding area. There was plenty of space to park, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
