I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in May 2017. You could not ask for a better, central location. The hotel was a quick walk from all of the main sites in the historic area of Bruges. My room was quite spacious with a seating area, a desk and plenty of space to spread out. The bathroom was also quite large and had a great tub. My reservation included breakfast and the buffet offered was extensive. All of the staff I met were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hotel Casselbergh.

Loved staying in this luxureous hotel with chandeliers everywhere. Friendly staff. Some guests complained about the car elevator as being a scary experience. Traveling by train I didn't have that problem however. Would stay here again.

Well located, in th centre, lovely rooms, but the service lets this hotel down. I have never stayed in a 4-star hotel with no room service, or where the spa is not eally a spa, just a hammam and a sauna... quite misrepresented on the website I thought. With the two of us sharing a room, having only 1 shower gel was a bit mean, how strange to do that. Net, it's the little touches which were really missing. Having to wait to talk to someone at reception every time is also unexpected... only ever 1 person working the front desk, even at leak checkout times. I felt cheated, to be honest. Would not recommend this hotel, sadly. had much higher expectations, given the price tag.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel as a couple & our adult son & I can thoroughly recommend it. The staff are extremely helpful & welcoming & make you feel very much at home. Our rooms were spacious & quiet & although in the new block were still beautifully furnished. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept in.The hotel is situated really close to all the attractions of Bruges & has a lovely spacious lounge to relax in & have drinks/tapas etc. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Despite being a buffet it was regularly topped up with fresh food so it really didn't matter what time you went down to breakfast. It is far cheaper to get it included in the room rate. Nearby the hotel there are plenty of cafes & restaurants so plenty to choose from. This hotel could only be improved with their own restaurant. If we return to Bruges in the future I would not hesitate to stay here again..
