When we walked in, the place was empty and after having a meal there I fully understand why. The Ricotta and Spinach Cannelloni was quite good, but the Risotto dished up was dry, salty and only had a hint of seafood inside. The cheese pizza was horrendous and so dry that my kids finished their drinks half way through the meal just to get the pizza to go down. The Spaghetti Bolognese was passable for a 10 year old. At the end of the meal when the waiter asked us how the meal was I gave him an honest answer which seem to offend him. He tried to explain how the pizza dries in the oven as if we have never had pizza before. If you do not want honest criticism you should not ask how the meal was. I would most definitely not recommend La Cantina as there is a very good reason the patrons are scarce.
