The owner-host is an absolutely great individual.
The location of this beautiful B&B is central, which is a definite plus.
The building itself, and the interior design of the 4 rooms are, as has been noted by numerous reviewers, absolute gems. A garden, open to all, is most pleasent.

The host is very attentive to the needs of his clients. He makes and serves the most sumptious breakfasts. Low keyed classical music played during breakfasts is definitely in good taste. Speaking of good taste, it appears that this B&B seems to attract a most civil clientale. This is an important plus in today's world of travel. What a relief to see travelers who are considerate of others at the B&B, who respect the premises and the facilities of this enticing B&B.

Nevertheless, there are two inconveniences. First,a rather minor one, there is no air conditioning. Something to consider during hot summers, even in Belgium. The second drawback is that the rooms facing the street are unfortunately quite noisy, as they face an important city road. Do not recommond the streetside rooms to those who need a silent environment in order to sleep well. On the other hand, it appears that the rooms facing the garden are an oasis of silence, as the garden itself.

Will definitely recommend this B&B to others and will definitly return to this wonderful, though rather pricy abode.

Room Tip: The 2 rooms in the back, facing the garden

From the moment you enter the grand hallway you know this place is special. Stunning interiors which have been carefully renovated, maintaining the beautiful period features. We opted for the exquisite Empire Suite, with floor to ceiling windows, separate dressing room and amazing bathroom. We took breakfast in the garden and it was delightful. Go, treat yourself, it's amazing.

It is great to stay in a grand house for a couple of days. No small dark corridors here! Room, breakfast, garden and location are all top notch. It feels like a time machine and fits the city well. Staying here truly enhances the Bruges experience.

A stunning bed and breakfast situated within minutes walk of the Town centre. Beautiful traditional decor, stunning gardens and orangerie which we used most evenings. The owner could not have been a friendly host and is certainly one I intend to revisit. Breakfast are also out of this world .Highly recommend

It's like staying with a rich relative - it's more an experience/event than staying in a hotel. The exterior doesn't tell much about what's hidden inside. The rooms are big, airy and with high ceilings. We had The Peer Gynt Suite. This was more like a flat with several rooms and a private outdoor area. Chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, very comfortable bed, great bathroom etc.etc. The salon, the library and breakfast room were also rooms to match the atmosphere of the place. During our stay the weather was perfect and the host laid our breakfast table in the beautiful garden. «We didn't know a place like this exists», is what the reviews that tempted us said. We'll say the same! Go and get your own experience to cherish and remember!
