“Lovely property, excellent location”
Reviewed 30 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Really enjoyed our short stay in Tresaith. The owners were very helpful with any queries. The property would be brilliant for star gazing when the skies are clear as there are no streetlights.

“Excellent Property and Location”

Used the property for a week in August for a break and also to host some friends and family. The house is finished to a very high standard with all the appliances and accessories we needed for our stay. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the decking overlooking the stream - perfect for morning coffee and evening BBQ's. Very peaceful and private location but only a short walk down to the pub and beach. Great hosts who were very keen to make sure we had everything we needed for the stay. Would certainly return.

“Fabulous property in lovely seaside village”

We stayed for a short break with children and grandparents. The house was immaculately presented on arrival, with everything you need in a holiday let but so often don't get. The kitchen was really well stocked with equipment, cleaning items and basics, like salt, pepper, oils, sauces etc. There were games and beach items for the children and all towels and beach towels provided. The decking area is a lovely place to sit and relax or have a meal and the house is spacious inside with big rooms and three bathrooms. It is a short walk to the beach, although uphill on the way back. The beach itself is fabulous, lots of rocks and coves to expore but great for swimming too, with lifeguards patrolling. There is a small shop where you can get ice creams and a pub, the Ship Inn, with wonderful views out to sea.

“Superb location and property”

We stayed at Ravenscroft at Whitsun this year and had a wonderful time. The house itself is superb and is equipped to a very high standard. This allowed for our family to want for nothing during our stay. The owners proved to be helpful having and extensive knowledge of the local area. The house itself has four superb bedrooms that made the stay extremely comfertable. The kitchen is equally well furnished to all for all levels of culinary standards. The location is outstanding with a wide range of picturesque places to visit within a few miles of the propert. I would highly recommend the property to anyone interested in visiting this stunning location and property.

“Beautiful house in beautiful location, a peaceful break.”

The house is a recent build finished to a very high standard and very clean. With just the two of us we only used the one bedroom but we what we really enjoyed is the use of a living room, kitchen and a private decked area which we used after our daily outings and evenings. Much better than going back to a small room in an hotel - a bit like home from home. There is ample off road parking of the property driveway.
Whilst the large kitchen has all mod cons, other than making a drink and using the fridge (for essential refreshments!) we tended to use the Ship Inn for all our meals including breakfast.
The beach at Tresaith is a short walk down but we decided to use the car because of a bit of a steep climb back up. Though there is limited parking by the beach we never had an issue finding a space and you are able to park in the road after 8.00pm. Lovely sandy beach which expands considerably at low tide, there is a surprisingly high waterfall just around the corner but a walk over a few rocks and even beyond is well worth it. The Ship Inn is just feet from the beach and well worth a visit or two.
The house in a quite cul-de-sac of 5 houses is a lovely base to explore Cardigan Bay.

Liked best: Very easy to settle into and make yourself at home
Liked least: Nothing to dislike though a car is essential for most journeys - unless you like hill walking.
