I've been on City Sightseeing tours of Belfast, Dublin and Barcelona so I was expecting a potted history and an introduction to all the top sights. This one was different and not in a good way. Almost no commentary, it was 80% Portuguese folk music. There is nothing to see, just a huge sprawling tourist development. We whizzed past posh villas and apartments, stopping at various hotels and resorts to pick up passengers. We saw nothing of any historical or cultural interest. It's billed as a tour of the Algarve but it's just a dreary ride around the suburbs of Albufeira.
On a positive note, the bus was very modern and clean, the driver was kind and we enjoyed our vantage point. We found it relaxing to sit on an open-top bus with the sea views, cloudless skies and warm breeze. My advice is to catch the public bus for a fraction of the cost.
