This hotel is literally steps from a quiet, cozy beach in Lagos. It's about a 15 minute walk from the old town of Lagos, so it's easy to get to but not right in the thick of the activity, making for a quieter beach vibe. The included breakfast buffet was great.

Room tip: the beachfront view was worth the extra money

My wife and I stayed at Carvi Beach Hotel for 8 nights and we were very impressed. The hotel had been recommended to us by a family member and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel is literally a few metres from the beach. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the town. For older people, the walk might be a bit tricky as there are quite a few uphill stretches on slippery surfaces. The hotel itself was spotless. We had a room with a partial view of the sea. We had a big balcony and we sat out there in the evening for a drink before heading down to the town for dinner. The rooftop pool is great for lounging around. It’s a small space but ideal for sunbathing. Luca’s Bar is very nice too. Breakfast was served there every day and we also had lunch and dinner there a couple of times. The staff can’t be faulted. They were all extremely friendly and professional in their dealings with us. We felt very welcome at all times. A couple of minor issues were the Wi-Fi, which was pretty poor and the gym facilities. The treadmill was in poor shape (in fact, it stopped working during a run) and, as it’s the only one, that was a bit of a problem. However, those minor issues didn’t spoil what was a very enjoyable stay at a quality hotel.

Room tip: The walk to town might be difficult in parts for elderly or infirm people. Camilo beach is for photos only. The beach itself is tiny.

We have a brief stay here but enjoyed the setting above the beautiful Dona Ana beach, and about a 20 minute walk to the old town and marina area (be sure to take a boat to see the caves and grottos). Lots of stairs down to the beach but very worth it! The room was small and basic, but our balcony was huge (no sea view, not available). The beds were really comfortable, and front desk service was fast. Parking is tough during the day unless it’s early or late, but it’s free. Fantastic restaurant with a great view and even better service for dinner. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. A treat! Would come again.

Amazing experience in many aspects. It was a quiet, cozy week in a place that makes you feel at home.
Extremely comfortable room with excellent cleanliness. The morning, at breakfast, begins with a stunning view of the sea!
The staff was always friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Genuinely, we have only good things to say about our stay. We highly recommend it!

This hotel is situated in the best location possible in Lagos just next to Dona Ana beach and a small walk from the center.

The breakfast has a lot of variety and the view makes it an amazing experience.

The room was simple, clean with a great sea view.

The pool is pretty convenient and again with an amazing view.

Highly recommended to anyone wanting to spend a relaxing time in Lagos.

Room tip: Ask one of the higher levels to get the best view.
