We bought our tickets the evening before, while walking along the promenade. There are ticket vendors every few steps, and the tickets can also be purchased at the marina and also online.
The team was very professional. Check-in was easy and quick, and then it's a short walk to the large and well-maintained boat. There are lots of seats available, and a team of three guys to ensure a fun and safe experience. It's a short trip out to the open water, and then they hand out lifevests and give the safety information, before helping couples into the kayaks.
There is a guide in the water the whole time, with the boat nearby for safety and to check conditions further along. The guide gave us great information about the various beaches and headlands, and only took us into grottoes and caves where it was safe.
The waves were a bit high during our kayaking trip, so the team determined it wasn't safe to go into a couple of the grottoes. This turned out to be a good decision, as another outfit did take some kayakers into that very spot just minutes later and some of the kayaks were pushed hard against the rocks and almost tipped over! Instead, we paddled a bit further along and had time for a quick swim and chat with the crew - nice, relaxed and safe!
Overall, it was very professional and everyone on the boat enjoyed the trip.
