Walk up to the old fort and marina and then continue along the well maintained foot and bicycle paths.

For some reason this place has become a tourist attraction with all that goes with it, including trash and crowds.

I suggest you continue along the path to Guincho for a good walk along the seaside.

Calm and quiet city, not crowded. Sea is bit rough but it was a stunning view of the ocean. I spent more than 30 min.s just watching the ocean. Nice view. It takes only 30 min.s to travel by train from Lisbon to Cascais. Lisbon to Cascais return train is free, if you have Lisbon travel card. That train trip is awesome because the train is going just beside the ocean.
If you are in Lisbon and have enough time, dont miss Lisbon to Cascais train trip and the calm and quiet environment of Cascais.

I did not see anything very unusual or special on this place compared to the rest of the coastline. The place was nice.
