We read the reviews and decided to check it out, and it turned out to be the best meal we had throughout our one week in Portugal.

The service was excellent and the food, heavenly! The octopus, prawns and sea bass were excellent! And not to forget the wonderful desserts.

Highly recommended for seafood lovers, and do make reservation as it is usually fully booked.

Great meal and service. We has the grilled octopus and cod entree's, some of the best we've had, delicious and expertly prepared. We shared the dessert sampler, it was all good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Reservations are highly suggested as we saw many people turned away. Also, you need to ring the doorbell to enter. A simple but nicely decorated restaurant with pleasant music playing in the background. My husband and I shared the prawns while my sons shared the veal roast beef to start. Both were nice starters and delicious. There were six large prawns which were plenty to share. The veal had a tasty salad. For entrees my husband and I shared the capalana with octopus and mussels. The dish was so aromatic and delicious--filled with sweet potatoes, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and parsnips. A hearty dish that we ended up sharing with our boys. They had the salmon and prawn risotto which they also enjoyed. Definitely worth trying out.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner here during a recent visit to Lisbon. The restaurant looks very average from outside, but the interior is nicely appointed. The food was simply excellent, the talented staff guided us through the wine list, making an excellent suggestion. Great seafood dishes, creatively presented. We will be back when we visit Lisbon again. Highly recommended.

we were craving the seafood portugal is known for. and found it here. very quaint, perhaps 15 tables. make a reservation. it was busy even on Sunday. staff was very kind. perhaps could have checked in a bit more, as i was out of wine for about 15 minutes. however the food was spectacular. prawns were very fresh, great garlicky butter sauce with a touch of heat. mussles gratin had great flavor, just a tad dry. seabass was amazing with a seafood rice generous with small shellfish. reminded me of gumbo, as it was stew like. wife had the cod with cornbread. good flavors but cod was kind of dry.

although im being a bit nitpicky i still recommend this restaurant and would consider returning
