The hotel is well kept, clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic, but that's what we paid for. The biggest disappointment with the hotel was breakfast (we paid for B&B). There was very little food to choose from, scrambled egg and some bread, a tiny fruit bowl, some coffee and juice and that was about it! Even for the money we paid (and it was relatively cheap) i would expect better. The location was great though. Right next to a commercial area full of shops and restaurants and the Parque Metro stop which is on the blue line, making it easy to get around the city. If you're travelling on budget i would recommend this hotel, but perhaps get breakfast elsewhere.

Perfect location for Lisbon. Easy walking to all the major areas and central to the plaza to pick up buses etc. Just slightly off the street enough to not be too crazy. Formal interior - we never used the bar or restaurant for that reason. Starbucks right next door so we just hit that every morning for coffee. Hairdryer is the horrid thing that a lot of older hotels have. There is a sign above it saying to ask for a more powerful one if you need it but we missed it the first morning. Comfortable beds and good sized rooms for an older hotel. Very helpful concierge desk. Overall great experience but if you are looking for something fun and hip this is not the place.
