The suite was comfortable and the hotel staff was quite friendly. The best part of the room rate was the breakfast included which was fantastic. It is well situated by Campo Pequeno and a 5-6 min taxi ride to Bairro Alto if you are into the nightlife. The wifi was spotty at times but overall great.

I really enjoyed my stay here. My room rate included breakfast, and I request gluten free. Each morning they provided me with my own plate of gluten free muffins; a nice surprise.

Location is nearby the metro, train to Sintra, and bus stations. Easy to get around to other places.

We booked this hotel as we wanted to visit the Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon, and this was within 10 minutes walking distance, but well away from the centre of town. This turned out to be good news as there was a big football match on the Saturday, down in the main part of the town, and huge crowds were gathering for the celebrations later.
We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit tired (paint peeling off the ceiling above the shower/bath). The other major problem, was that the safe in the cupboard wouldn't work - it needed a new battery, so obviously hadn't been checked before our arrival. I reported this to the desk staff, but they couldn't find anyone to replace it, so we had no safe place to leave our cash, passports or jewellery, and they didn't even offer us the use of a general hotel safe.
The breakfast was excellent food-wise: a nice selection of cereals, breads and cake, plus fresh fruit, and hot cooked eggs, bacon etc.as well as cheeses and cooked meats.
The down-sides were - the coffee and tea came out of the same machine, so one tainted the other unless you ran the hot water to clear whatever had been poured before.
The fruit 'juice' wasn't fresh, it also came out of a machine and was like some watery, cheap squash. Shame they let themselves down with this.
This hotel is also very handy for the train station to go to Sintra, which is reviewed separately.

Room tip: We had a front room, which was fine and had beautiful trees outside which softened the view of the office block opposite.

The hotel is well located, close to the airport, an underground station is nearby. The room - a suite - was smaller than I had expected. It was clean though and it did not face the street which was good. Staff at reception was very helpful and nice. Breakfast just average. Can recommend the hotel for a few-day stay. Attached is a photo of the street where the hotel is located.

Located about 100 meters from Campo Pequino metro station. Comfortable hotel. Quiet rooms. Breakfast good. Niceties in rooms not quite up to par unfortunately. There is a kettle but only tea bags provided: no coffee. No spoons with the cups either... little things like that. Safe and fridge in room. The in house musak is automatically piped into the room when the electronic key card is inserted... there is a control on the wall to change to radio station or turn it off.!!
Hotel is in a commercial area so not much in the way of cafes around open in the evening that we found anyway. nb there is a good restaurant by the bullring entrance. Neither did we come across any small corner shops.
The famous and fabulous neo- Arabic style bullring is at Campo Pequino and about half a mile in the opposite direction from the hotel is the Gulbenkian museum - a must for art lovers.- good cafe and lovely peaceful gardens as well.
