A nice and comfortable hotel dominating the sea as its name indicates.In the months preceding July the restaurant was closed but nearby numerous restaurants are open.
Staff is very kind .
A supermarket is 3 minutes walk (Pingo Doce)
The price performance ratio 98 € for a night was not matching. The breakfast and the room was just okay but nothing more. The bed was quite hard. If you want to get a taxi they call someone who works with this hotel. We had to use it 2 times. he takes more than any other taxi around. At the reception they arranged the taxi for 50 € from hotel to the airport but he took 55. It is always more than expected. The hotel should afford a fair taxi service.
Stayed here two weeks for work and the stay was OK! Staf worked hard to make everything work out for us.
They have a pretty pool and spa service.
Especially Antonio the bartender made it a pleasant stay. Ask him to perform his magic card tricks!

We had a 10 night stay here, the hotel is clean but has seen better days. However the staff were all very attentive, kind and caring. The food was good for breakfast.
We had a premium room which had a very big bed but it was very hard, and there were no drawers or kettle.
I used the pool several times, all good.

Spent 5 days on a business stay in this hotel off the top season. Room is ok if you plan to spend most of your time outside but lacks basic stuff. Heating with AC only, bath is good.
Breakfast served on the 1st floor and type of continental with lots of sweet cakes but very limited basic food selection.
Good training gym with sauna and swimming pool. A pool cap is mandatory if you want to swim which was out of the blue.
5 minutes walk to the train station and 25 minutes on a suburban train to Oporto downtown.

Great location, that's the only good thing I can say.
This hotel may have been awarded 4 stars way back in history but doesn't deserve it now. Old carpets and furnishings, pealing wallpaper and a nasty odour in the room were what welcomed us. An ancient TV and faulty air-conditioning unit added to the disappointment and I mustn't forget to mention the noisy freestanding fridge opposite the small double bed.
If we hadn't of paid in advance we would have turned around and gone elsewhere.
On settlement of the extras we did get a small reduction on the bill to compensate for our dissatisfaction.
