Couldn't be in a better place, near the riverside and a 5 minute walk to the city's main square where the buses and airport transfers are. Very helpful man on the desk who spoke excellent English. Only downside is the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there is a nice bar downstairs. Very clean and quiet.

The hotel is well positioned for the city centre and riverfront. A short walk across the bridge took you to the majority of the Port houses. A large selection of restaurants are near by. Our Room was small but clean, with a well equipped bath room. There was a bar with a seperate lounge and small reception/foyer area.

This hotel was a true disappointment since it had been recommended. Good warning not to accept them. The rooms are quite spartan and cold. It is understaffed and ill-trained. It really surprised me to see such a house in Portugal.

Room Tip: Ask for river view room.

What really matters for this hotel is its location: close from Sao Bento station, San Francis Church and tram station, Dom Luis I bridge. That's important because Porto is a city to walk and being in the right place matters. Right there in the old, and historic, area of the city.
If breakfast is not included you can skip it. Better options outside. Rooms are comfortable and Wi-Fi is good.

Well positioned, friendly helpful staff, room fine, breakfast could be better, nothing cooked not even a boiled egg. They have a relationship with Churchills port house, this is worth taking up. Free albeit it brief tour and three tastings again for free.
