Stayed for four nights as part of a city trip vacation. Initial impression was that the room felt a bit dated / tired with some minor maintenance issues - see photo. Comfortable enough (although our corner room had an add two-overlapping-squares layout which made one part tight, the other spacious). No electrical outlet at the tiny desk space. Not a luxury feel but actually fine for the price.

Breakfast made up for it, it was pretty good with lots of choice including local pastries, good coffee etc.

Located in the Baixa district meant that we were close to great arty shops, restaurants and cafes (especially Cafe Progresso - our favourite!). In the end we were glad not to be down the hill in Ribeira, the overly touristy area. It was only a 15 min walk when we wanted to go there anyway.

If you found my review helpful I would appreciate your vote.

We split a room between 3 adults and there wasn't much room to move, but it was inexpensive and the breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful, but it was too far away from the city center and it wasn't particularly charming. The view from the room was incredibly disappointing too.

We really enjoyed our stay here , just a little bit out but close to the busy bar area ! The hotel is clean and staff helpful ! We found the beds probably too comfortable, as didn’t want to come out of it hehe ! The cafe on left hand side as you come out of hotel was our regular breakfast stop and last stop for a late night cap ,really friendly staff!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for a leisure trip to Porto. The hotel is located close to the city center, about a 15 minute walk, although if using the metro to arrive it isn’t very close to a station. The hotel is clean and has nicely furnished rooms although we found the bed sheets very itchy and that did affect our sleep. The shower was very poor for a 4* hotel, the pressure and temperature fluctuated wildly and the shower panel was not long enough and caused the bathroom to flood. The area around the hotel has lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and you would be able to get anything you need nearby. The staff were polite and helpful when needed. Would rate 3.5 if could, would be a 4 if the bed sheets and shower were sorted out.

We arrived at noon and despite check-in being 2pm our room was ready, we'd upgraded to a suit which was a large room with a terrific bathroom complete with robes & slippers. The bed was vast! Wi-Fi adequate, all was scrupulously clean. The staff on reception were all outstanding, so friendly & helpful. I've got to mention breakfasts, they had a small but reasonable selection of everything & a fast toaster! That along with the amazing bread made my mornings. It's a good 15 mins walk downhill to the waterfront but there are some good cafes and a small supermarket nearby and it's only a couple of mins walk from the "Red Bus" hop-on-&-hop off tourist route.
