“3 Night Family Stay”
Reviewed 1 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Overall we enjoyed ourselves, the beds were comfortable, the showers adequate, very nice sitting outside listening to the sea and playing on the beach.
If you need somewhere to go unwind with a good book then this is the place for you.
Parking for 2 cars with car port, large kitchen with washing machine (no drier), dishwasher, fridge and freezer. 2 rooms with double beds and bathrooms, 3 rooms with 2 single beds (1 double bed in one) that share 2 bathrooms. TV area and outside 4 chairs and sofa with coffee table facing the sea.
The only let down was the place was clearly done up some years ago and little has been done since so its beginning to look tired and the furniture/equipment/utensils are showing excessive wear, the pictures above are what it must have looked like when last face lifted.
On arrival in the evening from Newcastle we went straight to the information pack to find where to buy groceries etc, the pack is lacking information on this. There were telephone directories, fishing trip and takeaway food sheets from 2007-2009, but no information telling you the nearest supermarkets are15km to the north or 25km to the south in shopping complexes (there aren't any shops in between). This is important since the place doesn't have wifi/internet access and 3G signal is very poor (go to the bottom of the garden).
The house comes with a cleaner who lives on the property for which you will need to pay 125 Rand a day.
The house is in a gated community and has a house alarm which you set for the outside sensors at night.

“Amazing view, comfortable cottage, ON THE BEACH!”

Stayed here last May, spend all day on the beach exploring rock pools with the kids. Comfortable rooms with everything you need. Kitchen well equipped with plenty of fridge and freezer space. Serviced daily by friendly lady, Rachel, who even set the table for all our meals!! Close to shopping centres in Ballito. It was the most perfect, private spot for our family to unwind and relax. Highly recommend.
