Not great.

2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 3 Feb 2020
My husband and I stayed for one night as the hotel is located fairly close to the airport. The pictures online must be from years ago, because they are deceiving and the hotel is in a state of decay. The positives were that our room was quite spacious and clean, and the hotel provided a free shuttle service to the airport but that’s where it ends. The staff seem very disinterested in their jobs. We caught the front desk sleeping staff sleeping on the job and had to wake them up, so that was interesting. They were not very helpful and seemed annoyed when answering simple questions. The bell boy and the shuttle driver were lovely however. The area around the pool is a hazard. The floor boards are decaying and loose and I felt like I was going to trip or fall through. The pool, was decent enough, however it is definitely showing it’s age. It looks like management has made no effort to up keep the property as it’s falling apart. The pool bar looks like it hasn’t been used in years and was flooded and the water features and ponds are all murky and decrepit. The phone and TV in our room didn’t work and the wifi was basically non existent. The doors are very thin so we could hear everything that was happening outside, and in the middle of the night our safe starting beeping and woke us up and it took awhile for me to figure out how to make it stop. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable. When we went to check out it was early in the morning and there was absolutely no lighting, so trying to get to the lobby I actually had to use the flashlight on my phone. I would not recommend this place, which is a shame because it looks like it has so much potential but there is really a lack of care.

Stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of trip to all Samui. The price was quite cheap, room large and airy, but they didn’t have a room ready when I checked in at 10pm and accidentally took me to a room that hadn’t been cleaned.. had to wait a while for this to be rectified. Lots of breakfast options but coffee wasn’t very nice and no dairy free milk (I never expect this, it’s just nice to have). Pool area is big, but the staff don’t attend to guests at the pool. Towels are left out all day without being tidied. Overall good clean place but the whole hotel is a little tired and rundown. Local is a bit slower and not as buzzing either, but not too bad if you’re on a budget.

We stayed 4 nights here as just a stopover but we were really impressed and felt super welcome. Staff were very helpful and always greeted us friendly each day.
The place looks like it could his use some work and fixing up a bit but it has plenty of potential to make your stay relaxing.
We loved the pool area and we were very impressed and happy with our room.
The bed is central in the room with bedside switches to control most lights so you don’t have to get out of bed to turn lights off. Had a huge rainfall shower head and glass walls for the shower which is great cause many hotels I’ve stayed at in Thailand don’t have any walls on the shower at all. The curtains also overlap so you don’t get that annoying light poking in.
Resort was kept very clean and decently maintained. Gym was your average hotel gym with the essentials.
I really enjoyed our room and stay at this resort. The only negative thing I can say is the breakfast was very average and not kept warm. If you want hot food you need to get there early because they don’t keep the food heated.

We booked the Baywater based on the pictures of the large pool. We stayed here for four nights on our way through to Koh pha ngan. We arrived in low season so there was only about 4 rooms booked over the entire hotel.

Overall our stay was well enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and greeted us every time they saw us.

We booked the superior room and we were on the third floor with a view of the pool. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were given fresh towels and water. The room itself was large, modern and clean. The bed was big and comfortable however there were no extra pillows or blankets. (I did not ask for more either).

The location is great, a two minute walk down to the beach and right in town for those who do not rent a scooter or a car.

The hotel itself did need quite a few repairs. The pool bar was out of action, the gym aircon didn't work and a few other things needed maintenance. In saying that, the staff were working and fixing things everyday.

The breakfast was average, it wasn't warm by the time we went down, around 8:30am.

Despite these small negatives, we really enjoyed our stay. We had the huge pool to ourselves and still worked out at the gym.

I wasn't expecting much and from others reviews I was kinda expecting the worst! But in early Oct the place was almost empty due to Monsoon (weather was amazing) Miss Jenny on reception is lovely so those dissing her are probably the kind of people that expect bow down 5 star service! This isn't that place but a friendly manner gets you all you want! The pool villa was amazing spacious and just what I needed. Breakfast is what breakfast is! pretty much what you expect from a buffet breaky! id come again for sure
