I had a very comfortable stay at Athens Habitat. The apartment was spacious, bright and airy, breakfast was good, and the staff was always friendly and hospitable. Location is in a quiet, residential area, which means there are very few restaurant options nearby at night. Also, it's not in the city center, so it takes a taxi ride to the metro to get to downtown. However, the hotel is a very short taxi ride from Kifissias train station that runs to the airport.

Stayed for 3 nights. Cool small apartment with TV's, fridge, kettle and coffee, tea, etc.
Room was very clean with silent air conditioning. Free beverage in the fridge included in the price of the room.
Staff very friendly. The only average point is the breakfast that is really basic. Had a perfect stay. Recommend and will come back again

The hotel is located in a business area and is easy to be reached from the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us good directions for shopping nearby, which is in a walking distance. They offered us coffee upon arrival, which was good. The rooms look nice and are very clean and the beds are excellent.

Very good rooms with large beds.
The staff is very kind and willing to help anytime.
Some rooms have very small bathroom/toilet.
The breakfast is rich and you can ask anything you want to be prepared.
Rooms are very close to Athens Mall,Golden Hall and Olympic stadium.

Stayed here 1 night intending to stay 2-3 nights but checked out after first night as room was so poor.
The bedroom had only enough room for the double bed and the toilet was partly under the sink - see photos. This much is possibly bearable for a short stay if you are not spending anytime in your room. However, as soon as I put my head on the pillow it was clear either the cleaner smoked or whoever had slept in the room before smoked profusely - the pillows smelt disgusting! It was apparent the rooms also stunk despite the management's attempt to encourage people to smoke on the balconies! (signs in elevators encouraging people to smoke on balconies!) - perhaps a sign would be more appropriate that management reserves the right to charge more for cleaning if smoking is found in the room? I fear this review will fall on empty ears (see photo of dirty ashtray provided by the hotel, found in lobby!). Clearly, this hotel lobby isn't following European standards of health and hygiene.
Other points to mention the room and hotel ,at times, stunk of diesel fumes from the central heating system, the walls are thin, the water pressure at beast bearable and the shower tray tiles incredibly slippy.
On a positive note Christina on checkin was charming and seemed very helpful, giving directions etc. On my early checkout though I explained a few of the issues to Mina on reception and suggested she ask the manager to call me later in the day when convenient. I heard nothing back.
Don't stay here at EUR70, in my opinion a rip off and unless you are desperate and smoke stay well clear. The other rooms on TripAdvisor look terrific but see my photos.
