We are a vegetarian/vegan couple and we find it more difficult to eat out, and tend to veer toward Asian restaurants and restaurants geared toward vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Namaste was the third Indian restaurant that we tried in Athens, and it turned out to be our favorite.
We sat near the kitchen window and were able to watch the cooks do their magic. We ordered a simple vegetarian biryani which was quite good and not greasy like a previous one in an unnamed city. We also shared a dal which was well-spiced with a smoky flavor, accompanied by some roti. We were delighted with this restaurant and will return in the near future.
