1 review The place was in a great location, within walking distance to the Acropolis and several other areas that are a must see. The owner was very trustworthy, as she could not be at the apartment at the check out time and just told us where to leave the keys on our way out. The place at first may seem a little run down or scary but it is a great place to stay, no matter your first thoughts.

We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights and could not have been happier. Efi was a pleasure to deal with and always responded promptly to emails. On arrival, she spent at least 30 minutes with us, showing us all the amenities of the apartment and sharing her favourite sights and experiences of Athens so that we would not miss anything. The apartment was as pictured, spacious and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The wifi was great, always worked well, from every room. The location is terrific, only about 6 minutes from the Acropolis Musum, 5 minutes from Hadrian's Gate. There is a large supermarket in the other direction, just ask Efi. The washing machine was very handy with soap powder provided. Thank you, Efi for a brilliant stay.

We spent three nights here. Efi and George were very good to deal with and were most helpful. Some of our luggage did not arrive with us and George was very accommodating and patient while we sorted through the paperwork at the airport- it was very late in the evening and he got us to the apartment and showed us around. We slept very well in the great bed. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and the location to the Plaka and Acropolus excellent. We were very pleased with everything and thank our hosts for being so gracious.

Like some reviewers said, the exterior is a little scary, but don't let that stop you. The apartment is indeed what is shown on the photos. Great location - a short walk to the Acropoli metro station and the Acropolis museum.
The apartment itself is clean and just right for a family of 4. My wife and I stayed in the bedroom while my kids (13 and 10) stayed in the living room. I'm sure you're concerned if you'll be able to connect to the internet so fear not, there is wifi!
Efi met us the first day to show us how everything worked in the apartment and how to get around in Athens. She's always a text away and was very helpful during our stay.
Best thing is - it's way cheaper than a hotel!
1 review Do not let the gritty look of the outside of this building deceive you. In fact, the space inside is simply great and the hostess an extremely helpful, knowledgeable and refined person. Indeed the apartment building is in just about the greatest location for central Athens, and very quiet inddoors in spite of the high volume of traffic outside.
