definitely value for money. nice hotel not very far from metro station..you can even walk down to Acropolis.. Surroundings were not very great but then you get what u pay for. Good clean rooms with all facilities. Cooperative staff.. highly recommended

We booked this hotel on our last night in Athens. It's a bit out of the way, but only a 20ish minute walk to the Acropolis Museum from here. We were upgraded to a suite, which was a nice touch. The carpet in the room was a bit outdated, but the bed was comfortable. We had a nice big balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Breakfast in the morning was decent.

We booking this hotel for 9 nights because it had a great star rating and it was well priced.

Once we arrived we realised how bad of a mistake we made! The hotel is rundown for the outside but the lobby makes it looking like it could be great.

Lady at the counter was abrupt and rude. The lady with the glasses is the nicest one of them all.

The bedroom had stains all over the floor and curtains. Smelt really bad and the bathroom had pubic hair on the floor, which was so gross.

We decided to eat at the rooftop bar because we just flew in and didn't feel like walking to get food, only to wait and how and no one shows up. We ended up walking into the city and eating at one of our favourite restaurants.
We can back and though we would just watch the sun set with the acropolis. We were there for two hours then a lady turns up and asks if we want to order. We say no because we went out to eat and she said if we didn't order anything we would have to leave as it's only for paying customers... umm what! We paid to stay at the hotel!! My boyfriend decided to just get a beer and she looked at me and when I said I still didn't want anything she gave me a death stare and snobed me off. Never seen someone so rude!

The first 4 nights we were there, there were kids running up and down the hallways at 12am slamming doors and screaming. DID NOT SLEEP PROPERLY FOR 4 DAYS! Even when they weren't making noise the air conditioning was so loud you couldn't hold a conversation.

We had people banging on our door at early hours of the morning and even one morning someone tried to get in at 6am. That same day house keeping came in at 7:30am when we were still sleeping. We told the front desk but they said it couldn't of been house keeping as they start at 8am. So if not them, then who had a keycard???

Okay now for the most important part, THEY'RE NOT 4 STAR! That's right, we though they must have been a 2 star because of how bad everything was. So after some research and finding they are actually considered 3 star, not 4 in Greece.

All in all, I would suggest to stay away from this place.

The building and staff were great. The location, and neighborhood is poor. The rooms were clean and updated. The staff members at the desk and bar/restaurant were very attentive an helpful at all times. They took good care of us. The rooftop garden was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some down time gazing at the Acropolis. However, the locations had nothing going for it. The streets were littered with trash and graffiti, there were several sketchy looking transients around, and it wasn't convenient to get to public transportation hubs. Staying in Athens for 3 days, I did notice a disturbing amount of graffiti and run-down areas. It was pretty sad. Overall, I really like the building, amenities and staff, but would try to find a better located hotel, if I were to go to Athens again.

We had three nights here as part of a group tour. The rooms were very outdated with lots of stains and the hotel often smelled like cigarette smoke. The A/C in the rooms worked just enough to allow you to sleep, but they were not great. It actually stopped working in the middle of the night one night, but seemed to fix itself.

We had our breakfasts and dinners here and the food lacked imagination and flavor. Especially the dinners were very basic and did not stand up to what is available in Greece.
