The location of the hotel is great, close to almost all the major sites in Athens. The facilities are quite modern. What I love the most about this hotel is its breakfast, a wide variety of items to choose from, and all of them are delicious. The only downside is the room size, which is kind of small.

This hotel was in a central area between 2 of the main train stations and airport bus. Shopping strip was 2 streets away. The rooftop bar was amazing to enjoy the sun going down over the Acropolis. Now for the room. Ok so we paid for a the basic room so wasn't expecting much but when we were shown to our room on the 1st floor i was surprised to see how small it was. We had 2 large suitcases and 2 smaller bags but no where to put them. I put the desk chair on top of another chair but still couldn't open our suitcases. The curtain on the window was worn away and furniture was a bit beaten. Definitely not one of the refurbished rooms.. We were only staying one night but needed to be able to access our suitcase. I went down and asked to be moved to a larger room but was told hotel was booked out and all rooms are same size. I offered to pay for an upgrade and explained we had no room for suitcases and was then offered a much bigger room(it seems they are not all the same size) on the second floor. Window looked onto a wall but that didn't bother us as we just went up to the roof top. Unfortunately the bed was the worst we had in our 4 weeks of travel, very hard and squeaked every time we moved, didn't sleep much. Pillows were flat and in need of replacing. Hairdryer didn't work. The lift was very small, only fit 1 person with 2 cases. Breakfast was ok. Im not sure i would stay here again as there are plenty of other choices but would definitely visit the roof top bar for dinner and some amazing pics. Best feature of the hotel.

Room Tip: Higher up and refurbished

If you are going to Athens for the first time , this is one of the best places to see the sunset in Plaka with the Acropolis right in front of you, you can get great pictures for your memories and also it has great service and very good drinks and food, the hotel has very nice rooms and if you make the reservation with time you can get a very good deal

Great hotel with good amenities. It looks like the hotel has been renovated in the past so it's a nice mix of updated and quaint - but definitely clean! The location is prime as it's in Plaka and central to dining, shopping, and acropolis. The rooms are decent size and have central air. Breakfast is included which is another bonus and the breakfast had a little bit of everything to keep everyone happy (i.e., fruit, yogurts, eggs, cheese/meats, pastry, etc).
For the amount of time I spent in my room, it was more than adequate. There is a roof top restaurant with an awesome view of the acropolis - great for night photography!
Everyone was super friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely consider this hotel for a return trip to Athens.

Room Tip: rooms themselves do not offer views but definitely check out the rooftop at night

After seeing the Acropolis, we met at the rooftop bar for dinner after and WOW! This spot may have been even better then actually walking the ruins. The food was delicious and the view was spectacular! Our waiter Gregoris was amazing and attentive and we absolutely were not disappointed!
