We were very impressed with this hotel. Rented 2 rooms for my wife and I and our daughters. The staff was welcoming and accommodating and seemed very eager to please. The breakfast and dining area was also very nice. The hotel and area doesn't look like much as you approach but looks are deceiving. The only negative to the hotel was the rooms seemed a little dated, but had some very nice upgrades. For example, the room furnishings could have been more up to date, but the bathroom was large and the showers were awesome....obviously upgraded.

We picked the O&B because of its excellent trip advisor reviews. It did not disappoint. The service was excellent, the room was perfect. We had a Parthenon view. The breakfast was delicious. We never got a chance to dine there because we were always out when we got hungry. The hotel is centrally located to many attractions and eating spots. We would definitely stay there again. I hope this helps others out like it helped us.

very nice boutique hotel. service was terrific and room was very nicely appointed with very nice bathroom. good location but a little off the path. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Athens. No disappointment here. Very friendly staff.

We stayed here in May for two nights during our honeymoon. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, going above and beyond whenever we had a question or needed something. To welcome us the afternoon we arrived, they brought fresh fruit, champagne, and heart-shaped chocolates to the room. It's a small hotel so it seems like they are able to get to know each guest. Good location walkable to most attractions and lots of restaurants.

Room Tip: Both rooms on the top level have fantastic Acropolis views from the porches.

The O & B provided us with the three most importation things in a hotel -- quiet, cleanliness, and a good bed -- plus a whole lot more.

We particularly enjoyed the hotel's location at the apex of Athens's three historic districts. We walked everywhere we wanted to go: the Acropolis Museum (go here before the Acropolis itself) the Acropolis, other main ancient sites, the National Archeological Museum, the Parliament to see the changing of the guard. The last two are a bit of a hike, but doable and interesting walks through the city landscape. Cafes and shops abound. If you like antique/junk shops you'll be in heaven!

The staff is top notch and very service oriented. Breakfast (included) was over-the-top -- bountiful and beautifully presented. Upon arrival we were treated to a fine complimentary Greek liquor and "small bites;" a welcome touch.

The immediate neighborhood was eclectic: the corner of the street has a "sex shop" on one side and a lovely, upscale clothing store on the other! We felt entirely safe at all times, and walked home after dark all three evening that we were there.

As the staff how to find the Pysiri district's "square. " It's not in the direction you'd probably walk on your own. We ate dinner there twice; it's a very lively and colorful.
