Description: Three brothers with extensive business activities decided to join their forces and their passion and created an amazing tavern! A unique and very welcoming place with delicious traditional Greek cuisine that you will simply adore! Homemade food, delicious seafood and appetizers, along with a variety of grilled meat is what you will taste in "Dyo Dekares i Oka", as this cozy tavern is called. Its name means "two dimes an oca", with oca being an old mass measurement unit, and will take you to the past. The flavours will do the same, as they resemble of an old, experienced Greek housewife's way of cooking. Pure ingredients, rich spices and lots of imagination are shuffled daily to offer you original culinary experiences. As for the space? Simple, cozy and welcoming. With beautiful decorative details that will make you feel intimate, like if you ate at a friend's house. At the evening, live music makes the mood take off. People become one... they celebrate, they dance and sing, as only Greeks know how to do! Create memories and take them back home when you leave this country... Many smiles, kindness, delicious flavours and affordable prices are what you should expect from your visit at "Dyo Dekares i Oka" restaurant. And we're sure that if you ever come back in Greece, then you'll definitely come back to the tavern as well.

This came recommended to is by the guys at Marble House (Best Athens budget hotel btw). Stopped in with my wife and daughter. Were greeted and they went over all the specials (in great english none the less). My wife got the chicken pasta, i got a greek salad and my daughter got the stuffed peppers. All the food was great and hit the spot after a long trip. I think our entire meal was €25 top with drinks. Great value.

Went here solo and it was great! Service was great the owner was so accommodating even joined me for a beer. He Recommended the Lamb dish and it was amazing! Also orders Saganaki, beer and coffee. Complimentary ice cream was a nice touch.
Really nice restaurant, sat at the front with doors opened to the street.
Waitress was very cute and cheerful! Made my night being first time in Athens.

Definitely go back again.

Absolutely loved the roasted potato and sundried tomato salad, and there artichoke dish. Although the kebab sauce is a bit too salty for my taste. Overall very warm and lovely service! Reasonable price :)

We started our trip with a lunch and it was delicious! The greek salad was fresh and tasty. Excellent feta! We chose variety of meats for two and we were shocked about the amount of the meat. But every single bite was so tasty! Must try again! The offer selection of days dishes.
