We are a family of three generations with me being elderly, I found the museum extremely family friendly with a over 65 discount and children under 16 free; encouraging youths to learn.

Thank Gloria N

Go here AFTER visiting the Acropolis site as it will explain many of the things that you saw visiting the hilltop. Take a break and visit the restaurant on the second floor for a truly outstanding cappuccino. The collection of art rescued from the actual site and now preserved is truly impressive. This modern museum charges only 5euro - a deal!

This is the 2nd time we've visited the Acropolis Museum and we continue to be impressed with the displays and the excellent value one gets for the minimal admission price (5 Euros...3 Euros for seniors). Be sure to plan adequate time to see the fascinating displays and don't miss the opportunity to sit on the restaurant terrace and enjoy a coffee whilst contemplating the Acropolis and Parthenon.

Highlights were the sculpture hall and the Cataryds. Quite a challenge with young kids, but the fabulous Lego model of the Acropolis with some rather humerus minifigure scenes was an excellent exhibit.

With glass floors, you truly are walking on centuries old history.. The findings in the museum were powerful. The lego exhibit was fun. Try to have a guide as the narrated tour makes the experience much more meaningful.
