Perfect hotel for 1 night stays! Our room was cute and very clean, all facilities new (it seems everything was recently renovated). AC worked perfectly. Maybe would not have felt very comfortable for longer stays, as room is extra small. Bathroom small and sparkling clean, but with a weird door (semitransparent glass, that does not close very well). Room even had a French balcony, good for smokers, but with a horrible view. Very quiet at night, had a good night sleep. Breakfast was also a big plus: enough food and options, good deal for 7 E/p (no included breakfast option at booking). Location of the hotel is OK, 10 min walk from the port, but you have to climb a hill to get there, so that was not very fun coming at midnight with big luggage after a long ferry ride. But the area seemed safe for walking at that late hour, 10 times safer that the area in Omonia where we stayed at arrival in Athens. There was no problem checking in late at midnight, staff was extra nice and polite. They have timetables for airport buss at the reception. The bus station for the airport is also 10 min walk from the hotel (right at the port Gate E7) and the bus station from the airport is just across the hotel. Wi-Fi worked great. Overall, best choice for a 1 night stay, when transferring to and from ferries for the islands. Great price also! Extra cheap for what it offers, best value for money in the area! Would stay again if in Piraeus!

Amongst all of the dirt and grime that is Piraeus! lies Hotel Argo. We walked to the hotel from the port and the streets and building along the way are Dirty and quite dilapidated.. But when we finally arrived at Hotel Argo we were very pleasantly surprised!.. We saw a very clean/beautiful hotel with a wonderful lobby and a very friendly staff! We stayed on the 6th floor and our room was super nice, clean, artsy and pleasant. We really enjoyed our room and all of the amenities. If we had to go the Piraeus ever again, we would surely stay at Hotel Argo. The room was very reasonable price for what we got.

Room Tip: Hotel has a small elevator. Hotel offers shuttle transportation to the Port for 3 euros per person. well worth it!

Me and my girlfriend we needed an hotel to stay the night before going to Santorini by boat. This hotel was very close to the port and the photos were amazing.

It is easy to find even if you come by bus from the airport.

The reception was ok because my girlfriend is Greek and she spoke with them in Greek. They were very kind and quickly redirected us to our room. The room was small but very cozy. It was clean as well. The bathroom was also very small but modern and very clean. The terrace had somewhat a view but it's space was awesome.

The only thing I missed was a free breakfast.

As I said it is good for the price. Don't expect something 5 stars but it is not a bad place at all (on the opposite).

The room we got was nothing like presented in the pictures.
Only the bed frame was new, the rest of the furniture was old and dirty.
The bathroom looked new but dirty, not cleaned properly; i barely had room to use the toilet (and i am a small person). The sheets had stains on them, and the AC should be cleaned cause when we started it some weird smell filled the room. In front of the bed there was and old sofa.
The only good thing about this was the size of the balcony, but not much of a view.
We were redirected to Anita reception, very rude and not welcoming. They told us to leave the key when we went out; the next day when we left they did not remembered that we paid the room already.
Expensive for what it offers.

The hotel is a fifteen minutes walk from the main port of Piraeus. Tickets to the Islands can be bought through the hotel and there is free shuttle service before 8 a.m. The Father and Son who run the hotel could not be more helpful. I have stayed here off and on for twelve years and recommend it highly.

Room Tip: Rooms on the third floor overlooking the church are lovely.
