The hotel is located in an excellent position. Beautiful hotel with an amaizing view. Beautiful and very rich and good breakfast. Beautiful and clean rooms. The hotel is next to the ancient sea traditional museum and is also surrounded of typical Greek taberns to eat many excellent traditional foods. Along the passeggiata towards the ancient Venetian harbour, there are many open air beautiful cafes.

Room Tip: best views

Magnificent hotel.
Attentive staff, cleanliness, delicious breakfasts - all very good.
The room is small, but very cozy. If it is possible to rent a room with a the sea view, then do so. The balcony offers a magnificent view of the Marina, yachts, the old lighthouse and the Venetian docks. Bonus is your personal sunset view, you can enjoy it every evening.
The hotel is located on a pedestrian promenade, so there are many traditional Greek taverns around, where you can enjoy coffee during the day, and dinner in the evening.
If you like to sleep with an open balcony (like me), then in the morning you can enjoy the scent of fresh baked goods and the sea, and at night listen to the sound of sea waves crashing against the pier and all these amazing sounds from small boats and yachts.
At breakfast you can taste delicious local Cretan pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, local cheeses and Greek yoghurt from sheep's milk. The girl working at the restaurant was so kind that she told me how she called one of the local cheeses and even said where to buy it.
If the weather is good, you can have breakfast right at the table on the waterfront, by the sea. The best start to the day!
The hotel has a bar, on some evenings you can listen to live music - the piano.
In this hotel, I would gladly return again and of course recommend it to everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Porto Veneziano Hotel. The location can''t be beat and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of variety and plenty of fresh fruit. They were kind enough to pack us a complimentary picnic lunch for our hike to the gorge!! The room was a little small but was spotless and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to return again!!

We stayed here two nights and were impressed by the friendly welcome, the public areas, room layout and quality fittings, cleanliness, presentation and general ambience. A great location, close to bars and restaurants, but also quiet.

Room Tip: Some rooms have great views of the harbour.
