Stayed here for 2 weeks from 23 rd June 2015. 2 minutes from the beach, lovely gardens, clean apartments. Typical greek style shower, cooker and room. Kettle, toaster, and fridge supplied. Will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: All rooms are equally the same. Only 2 floors high.

One of the better budget priced holiday accommodation locations in Greece. Very basic but set in wonderful gardens with lovely owners who if you try to make the effort to speak a little Greek become all smiles and can not do enough for you, with advice on attraction locations , eateries , fishing , car hire and public transport.
But do not expect the usual tourist trappings this is after all a working farm with apartments on it, so if you want Bar , Pool & Snack bar go some were else please and leave it to those who appreciate the piece and quiet in a tranquil setting with all the things for a relaxing holiday just a walk from its location.
This is the second time we have stayed here which i think is enough of a recommendation, its very clean, with rooms serviced every other day.
So if you want a true Greek feel to your holiday this is a good place to go on the very commercialized holiday island of Zante

Room Tip: First floor for better views & ground floor for bigger balconies

We recently stayed at the draganikos and although it is in a perfect location & looks beautiful but it is let down by the owners lack of willingness to do the most basic of things.
Upon arrival we didn't even get greeted an elderly gentleman just pointed at a door and said 'uh'.
The apartment was ok. Severely dated, had dirty walls, blown plug sockets & you wouldn't be able to cook toast as the toaster was that dirty. The kettle leaked & the cups provided still had the lips marks on from the previous occupiers.
Anyway knowing what Greece is like you give it a chance.
Then we discovered the towels weren't changed until they can walk on their own, the bedsheets were changed twice in 2 weeks on the main bed. Just once in the children's bed for the whole fortnight!!
The floors never swept.
We were given a quarter of a toilet roll between 4 of us at a time.
We had to use baby wipes. Other guests told us if you want toilet roll you have to pay for it!
If you asked the old Greek lady who owns it for something she just rudely dismisses you & says can't speak English.
It would seem the owner is just after your money. With no customer care. She has cut the service to that of below hostel standard in order to make 100% profit.
All that being said the village is gorgeous, food fantastic, beach stunning. Hire a car as you won't be disappointed with the island.
Just book in at another hotel!!

We have just returned from two weeks at the Draganikos in the beautiful village of Alykanas on the Island of Zante and we had a wonderful time. These studios are in an ideal location in the village - just three minutes (level) walk from the wonderful beach and five minutes to the centre of the village with its tavernas and tourist shops. The studios are very basic and in need of a bit of TLC but are very clean and sited within beautiful gardens. There is no Air-Con but fans are readily available (10 euros per week) and we were surprised to find tea pot, kettle and toaster as well as the usual two electric rings. As a base for visiting the area or just lounging around on the beach they are ideal, especially if what you need is somewhere quiet but handy for village life.

Room Tip: All rooms look onto the lovely gardens or countryside and only two floors - we had No 7 looking down...

Stayed at these apartments for 2 weeks from 3rd May,could not agree more that these are situated in an ideal location, turn left out of any of the three gates and you are on a beautiful sandy beach that shelves gently into the sea so that you after walk a bit to be able to swim.Valais pool bar on corner, mill pool further up down a drive and the neraida restaurant on the next corner offering good views of the sunset.Turn right out of the gates and you are soon at one of the best restaurants [Olive Tree] in the village and nearby first of the supermarkets and bars, but far enough so you do not hear any of the noise of the late night bars.Only noise are of the dogs barking and a cockerill who has no sense of time! The only thing that stops these apartments getting 5 star ratings are not enough towel changes and when you got clean sheets they were just placed on the bed and left for you to make the bed.The lady owner is friendly and gives a greeting when you see her about the buildings or on her smallholding.A dodgy socket which sometimes you had to wiggle to get the kettle to work and the owners habit of leaving the shower and kitchen windows open after cleaning which meant a quick burst of fly spray to get rid of the pesky flies, and a broken hanging rail in the wardrobe which left your clothes in an heap on the bottom were just a few niggles that stopped this getting 5 stars but not enough to stop us recommending or returning here except at the moment Thomsons don't seem to be pricing these at the moment for next year!

Room Tip: room 10 ground floor large balcony . sun at 8.45 for a few hours.Room 6 got sun earlier . 2 bed...
