Even though I read many positive reviews on TA before I just wasn't prepared for the overwhelming exposition of this museum. This place deserves to be in the top 5 of Copenhagen and honestly it is among the best museums I ever visited. The walk around with iPad is very well designed but the exposition itself is really truly breathtaking, even without reading or understanding anything you can still find yourself staring at the wonderful pieces for many hours. This is a must see if you are in or close to Copenhagen or Malmo!

Unlike most museums in Copenhagen which are grossly over priced, this is free.
Very good barcode reading tablets provided for translation.
Wonderful carpets, wood, and mosaics.
A well spent couple of hours.
Ignore the negative reviews, If you don't like islamic art don't go.

Very interesting collection and very varied. Some really ancient pages from the Koran. The lighting was very low in this area though and we got a little confused by the building layout.

The David Collection is highly recommended. It's definitely worth the stop. Interesting pieces and something I am happy we got the chance to prioritise to see.

There is so much to see here that Its almost overwhelming. The collection is huge and there is so much on display. Even for those who might not be so interested in the artefacts there is a lot of history about different cultures available. I enjoyed this a lot on a rainy Day and it was all free. We Will go again and see the rest in the near future
