I spent the better part of a day at this aquarium with my two year old and we both enjoyed it. I was looking for an indoor activity as the weather was still very cold, and this fit the bill. We took the metro and it was an easy walk. My daughter loved the large tanks with rays and sharks, the submarine playhouse, and the rainforest. She was also able to touch crabs and other sea creatures in a small open tank. The restaurant food was far better than your average theme park. Not cheap of course, but nothing in Copenhagen is. There was also a large area set aside to sit down and eat if you brought your own lunch. The outdoor play area looked excellent for warmer weather.

Pretty much a must see when visiting Copenhagen with kids. Amazing building. 3 main zones occupies a few hours. Quite busy so have to wait to get right up to the tanks. Tanks are spotless and easy to see the fish. The big tanks are very impressive. Amazing to see a small crocodile, several octopus and hammer head sharks. There are some feeding time displays but was disappointed that these were conducted almost completely in Danish. My daughter lost interest in these because of this. There was a tank for children to touch star fish and crabs - this was fantastic. Have been to some better aquariums - Plymouth, Uk and Dubai and some less good ones too but this is still worth a visit. Included with Copenhagen card.

The lay out and the amount on offer in this fantastic designed building is great.
DON'T GO during the week before 13.00 it was full of really ill behaved school groups. I managed (just) to put that aside for this review, but it was a real anoyance.
Good selection of educational stances and we could have stayed for hours had it not been for the horrible school kids.

We were two couples visiting Copenhagen. Decided to visit the aquarium on our last day, on our way back to the airport
The experience was nice, although much smaller than expected.

Price does not match it's value.

Hi Kabai,

Thank you for your visit and review.

I am sorry that you find the prices too high, though they are quite the same as similar attractions in Denmark. We would love to reduce the prices, but it is extremely expensive to run an aquarium our size.

I am glad that you still find the aquarium nice.

Best regards,

Its a wonderful experience at blue planet. The bus connectivity from airport is good. Don't miss the mermaid at the underwater experience. Kids will enjoy.
