We drove out from central Copenhagen to Cafe Chaplin for brunch because of the good review on Tripadvisor. I thought it looked good, but the reviews do the brunch here no justice at all... it was amazing!!
I've lived in central Copenhagen for a couple of years and had a lot of brunches here, but this was definitely the best.... there was an amazing array of homemade delicacies - crusty salted bread with butter, smoked salmon and dill mousse, yoghurt with granola and blueberries, pancakes with maple syrup and homemade raspberry jam and a delish chocolate brownie with a cream cheese and strawberry topping... and then there was all the other things: crispy bacon, scrambled egg, sausages, hot smoked salmon flakes, melon, pineapple.... It was IMMENSE - well worth 155 kroner!... plus the service was excellent, the coffee was strong and it was delightful sitting outside in the sun to eat. We loved it and will definitely go back!!
