Definitely not just another hotel in the standard mode - here every room is different, all with a nautical theme and loads of related artwork and old furniture. Very handy for the Gamlastan metro station and a great place to stay either for business in the city centre or for exploring this beautiful city.

We stayed four nights at the Victory Hotel. It was very charming and quirky with its old nautical design. The hotel itself almost seems like a museum with all its various artifacts along the staircase and in the hallways. Our room was quite spacious with a large bathroom and comfortable bed. The evening delivery of port and chocolate to the room was a welcomed treat. The breakfast was outstanding with a nice variety of items. The front desk staff were always helpful and pleasant. The Victory Hotel is conveniently located in Gamla Stan so you’re never far from interesting spots and the good restaurants and pubs. If you’re tired of the run if the mill hotel chains, check this place out.

Comfortable classy rooms, fabulous location, attentive staff, close to train and all Old Town has to offer. We stayed 4 nights and were treated to a complimentary evening Port service delivered to our room before bed.
Can’t go wrong!

If you hate the off the mill hotel chain rooms, where all the room has the same cold, impersonal interior all over the world, this is the place to stay. Plenty of quirky charm, in the rooms and elsewhere. A little worn off, but even that fit the hotel. The staff solve all your request in an easy and matter of fact way. And you won't get a better location than this.

First time in this hotel and will definitely return because of decor, ambiance, service, food and drink. All are top class. This is an historic hotel and as such the rooms are not enormous mine was big enough double with a small couch. Quite appreciated the the tawny port and chocolate offered in room. Breakfast is excellent. One of the better wine lists in Stockholm. Great decor of nautical antiques. Culturally sound. Nice place.
