Thomas and his friendly staff will help make your stay on board this grand old steamer,in Stockholm memorable with their insights and recommendations. The location (literally on the harbour) is close to the small ferry across to the Town Hall and Central Railway. The Metro, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and pubs are a hop-step away. An evening drink or light meal at the bar as the sun sets, a snug cabin... romance is made of this!

Room Tip: A small porthole provides an interesting perspective. Breakfast is delightful... tasty, no rush, with a great view of the harbour.

This is a boat, so do not expect big room with balcony.
You know when you book this you will have a small room, so do not complain afterwards.
Very friendly staff and very helpfull.
You have a bar where the prices for the beer are the lowest we have seen in Stockholm.
You have terras on the deck of the boat where you have a magnificient view of the river.
Breakfast is very good, we have done 3 hotels in Stockhom, and this was the best.
You can even make a toast with ham and cheese.
When you book a room with a window, ask for a room at the riverside.

Room Tip: When book a room with window, ask for room riverside

Considering the location, to get this for just £60 a night was perfect!

Lovely views of the river, evening food was great although limited to mainly pizza (which was very freshly made) however there were loads of cheap surrounding restaurants and take aways. Breakfast was a little limited but did the job.

Only thing to note is that as it's a boat the ceilings are very low, and although I admittedly paid for the cheapest room, I'm 6'6 and couldn't stand up in it - but I'm guessing that won't be an issue for most!

Other than that everything was great, highly recommend if you just need a bed for the night and some food which is all I did as I was on a business trip.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Same cabin, but excellent view from the porthole! Comfortable bar/lounge to sit and read/relax. Location perfect with all city sights within walking distance, metro nearby. Plenty of good eating places in easy walk as well.

Room Tip: Ask for room looking out on the lake.

I recently stayed at th Log Inn whilst visiting my nephew in Stockholm. From reception to departure the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive. Great breakfast, plentiful and healthy. Located close enough to all major areas whilst allowing a great sense space away from the busy centres. The boat itself is warm, quirky, spotless and full of seafaring atmosphere. Management encourage guests to use all of the great spaces provided when not sleeping or showering in the typical ship size bedrooms. The bar, breakfast room and lounge are all warm comfortable areas and I soon felt very much at home. I can't recommend it highly enough.
