Description: New, small, charming and EXCELLENT. The menu is created after the choice of wines and this changes every week. The best whole in the wall there is - and with super cross-country cooking with focus on local an ecological ingredients.

The menu lists the wines above the food. They adapt the food to the wines and compose menu es that balances the wine selection. In between the courses they serve small tasters. The food is very good. This is one of the highest price restaurants in Uppsala.

We were dining outside as the weather was fabulous. There is s lit of noise from the bus station and Main Street close by so stay inside is my advice.

The personnel is very welcoming and can tell you a lot about the wines and are ready to answer any questions you have about food and wine.

Just wondering about and find the good food at the old railway station in the small beautiful city of Uppsala is not what you do every day. Taking a pint is what people do at this place, we thought. But being hungry one accepts even British pub food. The food turned out to be better than that.
The menu was interesting and our choice of meat turned out to be delicious, both the rare, the medium rare and the well done.
The waiting was satisfactory too and the waitress had good knowledge about the wines.
To say something negative I can mention the choice of music but "to each his own".

In North America, hake is sometimes dissed as a by catch. Fools! The way they served it here, one would think of Manna from heaven....succulent, flavourful, melt-in-your-mouth delectable. An impressive wine list and outstanding service. I love restos that have their kitchens wide open to diners. Centrally located in the old train station, this should be on everyone’s bucket list.

We visited this excellent restaurant for a dinner and opted for 5 course set menu.
The concept here is that unlike most of the places, the wine is paired with the food and not vice versa. Therefore the food is chosen for wine. Since the wines here are outstanding and chosen very carefully, it’s really worth to savor them together with the delicious ingredients on the plate. I don’t want to underestimate the food , as it’s very good too, but the wine is something to remember. The tastes of oak, berries, fruits and the soil will please your taste buds for sure and this experience will be something to remember.
The service is very good and the staff is very knowledgeable about their wines and food. In the end the waitress was so nice that she even gave us the list of wines which were served in case we wanted to find them and buy ourselves.
Anyway, totally recommended place, especially for wine lovers!

This restaurant has more than many other restaurants literally set a menu, which offers more than a nice meal and the menu seems written in stone. You should not just jump in, because you suddenly felt a bit peckish. Maybe you should only go to Dryck, if you want to taste a special set of gastronomic offerings paired with wine chosen for you. It is good and the wine is congenial. There is little if any choice and staff points out that it has all been worked out in the way you see it. Vegetarians have very few options.
It is good but it is more of a culinary exhibition than a real meal.
Maybe we should have been told beforehand what we were up to.
Last but not least: this is overpriced!Abandon hope all ye who enter here
