Stayed two nights at this small, cosy boutique hotel, a mix of art nouveau and German gasthaus style. Rooms are nice and cosy but with a lot of trinkets, almost a shambles. Charming or mess, a matter of taste. Also trinkets in common areas like lobby and breakfast restaurant. Very hospitable and friendly service. You may say hello to charming 50 years old parrot Jakko (a girl) in her cage in the lobby.
Very quiet, also the neighborhood. Hotel is adjacent to a small park with Turku art museum jugend style. A few rooms have balcony with park view. Only a few rooms have a desk so I changed room from 1nd to 2nd night (also a better bed, not so soft). Lot of storage space and plugs, except in bathroom where storage space could be better.
The cleaning standard was not good! A dusty feeling in rooms and common areas, therefore only a three star review. Breakfast average. All in all a place where you feel welcome, but cleaning should be improved!More
