A budget hotel and spa facility. More suited to a day visit than overnight stay.

Previously there was a free play area for children this has been replaced with a facility that would cost €25 for my son and myself to enter.

This is the place to stay at for a night or two for a family with children, not too young. We got a spacious and very nice flat with three rooms and a large balcony for the price of an ordinary room. Everything was tiptop with a dishwasher, washing machine and a grill on the balcony. We slept well on very comfy beds. The breakfast was excellent. The only minus was the noise with so many people in the large breakfast room.
There are a couple of bars and some restaurants at the hotel, but they were quite ordinary.
An extra plus for the fantastic spa park and the adjacent super park.

TLDR: Easy family holiday resort-ish spa/indoor water park - better than expected

We were attending family celebration nearby and wanted to make this trip also a holiday, so we chose Caribia as our hotel. Expected slightly outdated hotel with pool, but we were wrong! The hotel rooms are renowated, the villas are brand new. There are many different pools.

The hotel's public areas are less fabulous, definitely not boutique hotel-ish. Our room was tiny, but renowated and stylish. We bought the spa package, so we had bath robes for adults in our room. You should have your own slippers, sandals etc. or buy them from reception. Also "opening room bill" is recommended as you can pay with it also food (not from Hesburger though). There's free wifi, TV, hair dryer and iron for your clothes.

Entering spa is easy when you buy the package in advance. You just take elevator to s-floor (basement), leave your slippers and open the door to pools with your room key. So you kinda enter the wrong way - then go to shower room and changing rooms if you need to.

There are a few slides and couple of pools. What was great to us is the fact that their kids' pool has 32 cm water so parents can sit on water instead of sitting on 5 cm puddle half-naked freezing... like most kids' pools in Finland are. Another happy surprise was that outdoor pool has warm water (unlike in Eden Oulu).

We visited the complex in high season (in July, while the Tall Ships were in Turku) and the hotel handled masses very well.

There were few things that could be improved: the public areas were not that fancy and the breakfast could have more options (they do have chocolate fountain though, but compared to Scandic selection this was less great).

Pro tips:
- recommend Classic Pizza after swimming - their Verde mon Dieu! is DELICIOUS.
- If you're traveling with kids, Seikkis is the park for you

Had a weekend in Holiday Club Caribia. I've been there a few times and now almost all rooms are renovated. Beds are very comfortable to sleep and overall very good. However, they've outsourced they restaurants for Classic Pizza and O'Learys. In Finland I just can't understand how an Earth two basic pizzas with two class (16 cl) of very average red wine can cost 52 euros! Thar was a robbery, to be honest.
The spa itself is very basic, water is warm but nothing extra. The outdoor pool is in the hole and no sun. Breakfast was ok, all necessary was available. What I don't understand is why people left so much food on their plates and don't eat what they take.... There was also one older couple... they carry a LOT of food on their table and we thought there will be more eaters but no. They put food on the plate, put paper towels on the food, put another plate on the first one, food on it and so on and then put all those plates in the plastic bag! Maybe they really wanted to get value for their money.

Room Tip: The higher the better

Really friendly staff and wonderful place for the family. Two adults with four kids, age 4 - 11.
We stayed in room 432 and 434 with a door between the rooms. Totally redecorated with comfy double beds and a one-piece couch that turned into a good extra bed.

We went there for a short family holiday and had a great time. The water park was lovely and fun for all ages.
