The beds were the best thing, extremely comfortable. The food was nice. Breakfast was basic ham, cheese, bread and cereal. The room was a decent size with a tv, unfortunately it has only 3 channels. The room was always clean but don’t think they change the order bed sheets as there was a rip in ours the whole 4 days. The water has a strong egg smell which was off putting. The location is a bit inconvenience as it’s 40min walk from city centre and no bars/restaurants nearby. However there a bus every 30 mins from Perlan museum which is close by. Staff where friendly and helpful.

Quite a good hostel in Reykjavik. I was renting a car - the hostel has a free parking just near the entrance. There is a good kitchen inside, dorms are not big, but quite OK to have a sleep. Also, they provide with private rooms - they are quite small.

I love capital inn. Their heating system keep you warmth despite weather is cold outside. Overall, here offers good breakfast and comfortable room. Free parking also. Good value for money. This is easily accessible from downtown and keflavik airport

We stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and 8 year old in a family room comprising of 2 single beds pushed together and speared by a bedside table another single bed. The room had a TV, sink and wardrobe. The staff on reception, the cleaners and restaurant staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. We ate our entire night in the restaurant, I had lamb, it was a huge portion and better value than elsewhere. My only very minor suggestion would be that there are no smaller options for children do had to order my son a full portion of burger and chips and he s L do enjoyed the lovely chocolate dessert so I'm glad I did order him the adult size! There is a basement kitchen which is a great idea to cook lunch and tea or make a packed lunch as Iceland is expensive, I brought a lot from home like Wraps, pot noodles and bought pizza and garlic bread locally from the shops, very reasonable. Alcohol we got from duty free after landing. The hotel rooms were cleaned daily. The whole place always had someone cleaning. The only suggestion I would have is that the rooms are not double glazed and whilst the heating is great, you can hear road noise a lot but after our full days out we still slept soundly. You are near the Perlan observatory for great views and a local beach with outdoor hot pool. It has a big car park for our rental car and we were never disturbed by other guest. Shared shower toilet room was big and clean. Bring Strong lemon shower gel as Icelandic water us pyre but sulphurous! I would highly recommend this great value for money hotel.
