We have just returned from a family holiday at Eleni Holiday Village. We had a really great time we have two boys aged 16 and 13 and after a very busy year we wanted a relaxing holiday in the sun. We went all inclusive for the first time and must admit wasn't sure what to expect, we need not have worried the food was excellent loads of choice and the staff were very attentive. We have nothing negative at all to say about the hotel, the staff couldn't do enough for you. The entertainment team work very hard and as the previous review mentions the entertainment can be a bit hit and miss but we didn't go for the entertainment so I suppose it depends what you want. Kids disco followed by bingo then a show, some of which were very good. If the entertainment wasn't for us we often sat in the quiet bar area in reception with a drink while the boys went online or played pool. There is also a quite seating area near the seafront where we sometimes sat. The pool is fantastic and the Sports co-ordinator Adrian did a great job organising pool and aqua fit in the morning water volleyball (in a seperate pool) in the afternoon followed by killer darts. The hotel is in the middle of Coral Bay and Pathos 10 mins either way by bus which is 2 euros for an all day ticket and the buses are excellent. We went to Coral Bay beach for a day which is not huge but very nice. Pathos Harbour is lovely. We went to the waterpark for a day which was good and 10 mins by bus from Paphos Harbour boys loved it!

We stay in Eleni village in August 5 for 5 nights. The hotel is very beautifull with one of the most beautifull pools i ever seen.Very big and suitable for childrens and adults. The hotel location is near Chloraka village. Is located between Kato pafos and coral bay.So in 10 minutes you will be in coral bay from one side and from the other side for 10 minutes you can go in kato paphos. The rooms are big with 5 beds.1 double in the bedroom and 3 single in the other room.the room we stay had balcony and front of us was the pool.So for me it was great time to stay to this hotel.I travel in a places such as Italy, chech repuplic,Greece,Thailand and i can say that eleni village was the most cheap but the most beautifull hotel i every stay.I can compare it with Amari hotel in thailand.it was so good.
The location of the hotel was ok.but if you can take bus or cars the location is very good.
The apartment was big enough for 5 persons. Both 2 rooms had aircondition and all the facilities you need. Our apartment have Balcony and front of the balcony was the big pool.
The hotel every night have a special night ...songs..live music,Fakir show,Games for childens, casino etc.The food was very good and each day was something diferend in the menu. The staff was helpfull and smiles all the time.I think the families with babies or small children especially they will like this hotel because there are a lot of entertaiment for children: ping pong,,Video games, internet.pool for childrens or babies, special program every night for entertiment the chilrdrens. Also during the food time a Big Bunny coming there to take photos with childrens etc.i think families will love this hotel. Also if you stay with you girlfriend whith youre wife or just friends you will like this hotel. And something else..We pay for 4 days to have breakfast and lanch each days. The price was 55 euro for each person. So it was 13.75 euro to have 2 times food each day.and for the suturday morning they give us the breakfust for free. For me was very cheap. So for 55 euro i had 9 times food:).So to all of you that you beleive that cyprus is very expensive i will ensure you that is not expensive.is some places is very cheap. Also we go for Fresh fish in Latsi (the place especially for fresh fish)and i order Kalamari with extra salata and water and was only 14.50 euro!.sorry guys but This price was the same as in thailand (very cheap country)So So i was very happy to stay at this hotel ..and next summer i want to go back for a couple of days:)

We arrived at the hotel just after midnight, and were greeted by the night manager who arranged for us to have sandwiches and a drink, even though the bar was closed for the evening.
We stayed in room 1013, the room itself was good, with a seperate bathroom and all the facilities you would need if you were self catering although we were all inclusive plus a balcony with a great view of the pool and sea.
The food throughout our stay was great and our two kids 10 &12 loved the free ice cream and drinks, but it was this that led to the only complaint we had about the hotel. The ice cream is served from the bottom bar area and one girl who worked there most days was surley to say the least and sometimes downright rude, she came up in conversation with other guests and to be honest she does the hotel no favours. Saying that every other member of staff we found polite and the three girls who worked the bar in the entertainment area could not have been nicer, also the resturant staff, were keen and very attentive.
The pool area is fantastic, with a nice gently sloping main pool, a shallow kiddies pool, and a third pool used for volleyball etc.
The entertainment team work hard, but the evening entertainment could be a little hit and miss, with some great shows and some not so good. There seems to be bingo most nights, with a full house paying around 120 euros, so worth winning.
A day ticket on the local bus ( 5 minutes walk to the bus stop) is 2 euros and well worth the money.
Not sure why people have written bad reviews about this hotel, all in all its a fantastic place for the money and we would definetly return.

We've just returned from a lovely week at the Eleni Village and wanted to comment on how much we enjoyed it. It was our first time to Cyprus and we will definitely return for the warm weather and even warmer welcome.

At check in out reservation couldn't be found but the reception staff quickly dealt with the situation, offering us drinks while they organised us a room. We were actually offered two and after looking at both decided on the one with a sea view. Our room was in the right hand block (number 3014) and was lovely. Large rooms, separate bedroom, large clean bathroom and gorgeous balcony. The room was basically furnished but hand plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. The only thing I can think to complain about is perhaps the pillows being a bit hard as was the pull out sofa bed but honestly other than that everything was lovely.

The whole grounds were well kept and actually parts of it were being freshly painted while we were there (just by one painter so no disruption as such) and the whole place was well looked after. The grass area overlooking the sea was beautiful and although we didn't sun bathe there as we preferred to be by the pool it was a lovely area to enjoy some peace and quiet and the sea breeze.

Now my review of the pool itself - well all I can say is that for our four year old it was perfect. In fact I wish more hotels had this kind of pool area as it was so child friendly. The main pool gently shelved all the way from ground level to the deep end which meant with the sun on it all day the temperature was really warm (bath like in the late afternoon). We were often still swimming at 6 or 7 in the evening and it was still lovely and warm to jump in and out. There's also a slide into the main pool as well as a small one in the separate baby pool. A separate activity pool with a net across the middle was on the upper level and there's also a small indoor pool.

Having a four year old with us meant he enjoyed the kids disco after dinner but I would say the rest of the entertainment was a bit low quality. The Greek dancers were terrible (in a funny way) which was a shame as it would have been nice to see a more enthusiastic show. Generally I would say don't go to the Eleni if you like high quality entertainment shows in the evening but if you have young children and will be happy with a kids disco and a game of bingo followed by a few songs while enjoying your a inclusive drinks you'll enjoy yourself.

Talking about all inclusive we found it to be very good, breakfast was fine (odd frankfurter type sausages but plenty of things to choose from). Lunch was available from a set menu in the outdoor covered area by the pool and was very good, sometimes better than dinner. The snack menu was little old in that it was more like main meals rather than snacks but there's nothing to stock you ordering a toasted sandwich with chips and just eat part of it if you wanted. Ice cream and milkshakes were also available all day and were very nice in the hot weather. There were a couple of nights where the evening meal was a little overbooked (lots if stewed meats) but there was always lots of choice and even our little boy picked from the main buffet selection although you could order fish fingers or chicken nuggets for children if you wanted.

Overall the staff were lovely and everyone made us feel welcome. There are certainly a mix of nationalities that stay at the Eleni including local Cypriots at the weekends when it did get a bit busier. Also just to point out the advertised kids club activites and separate kids club building is actually only available to guests travelling with one of the Dutch tour operators. It was a shame as there is a great ship shaped building at the bottom of the gardens which my little boy would have lived to explore but couldn't. That said it didn't really bother him as the pool was more than enough to keep him occupied all day.

Overall I'd like to thoroughly recommend the Eleni and hope to go back again in the near future.

My wife and I stayed here from the 3rd July to the 11th July, we arrived late but were treated to a very nice welcome which included a bite to eat which was very nice.
We stayed in room 2411, this was very spacious and decorated to a good standard, shower was hot and powerful which is always nice, although we were All Inclusive the rooms come equipped with a kitchenette which is nice as you can always keep drinks and aftersun cool!!
The grounds of this hotel are extremeley attractive with nice plants and trees flanking the pathways, makes for a very lush environment, the swimming pools are large and very clean, they are also very warm which is no suprise considering the scorching heat all week.
The main reason for my review is to congratulate the staff on the outstanding service we were provided with during our holiday, Alex in the restaurant was attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble, Anastasia was also very good, as was Alin, sorry if I have missed anyone out as they were all great.
In the bar we were mainly served by Vasilka and Ana, never have I seen 2 girls who were always so pleasant and always had a smile on their faces, despite working long hours, these 2 girls were fantastic during our stay, Chris the head barman was also a very nice guy with loads of time to converse with guests which is always nice, the standard of drinks was very good in hotel as the amount of cocktails consumed by my wife can testify, also no little plastic cups for beer here, pint glasses in the bar meant no queuing for beer at any time, plastic glasses round the pool but, thats how it should be, a nice change from queuing for hours for half a pint normally experienced in Spain.
Food was excellent too, plenty of choice and always piping hot.
All in all this an excellent hotel in a good location, bus for the day is 2 euros, which is incredible value really, this hotel will become a family favourite of ours and we will definately be back next year.
Thank you to all the staff for making this a truly wonderful holiday, well done!!!
