It's amazing! Probably the best mosaics I ever saw. It's a huge area n the musaics is from 2-4th century. Saw beautiful. The best visit in Paphos!!!!

We are staying in Limassol and drove to Paphos archaeological park. It's worth a visit but if I compare this ancient site with Kuorion then my vote is certainly for Kourion. The entry fee is €4.50 per adult and children are free.

My wife and I have travelled a lot in Italy and Europe and these are the best displays of original mosaic flooring we have seen to date.
The entrance fee was (at a couple of euros) real value for money. We tried to choose a cloudy day as we think it may too hot in the summer months or in full sunshine as some of the mosaics and sites are open to the elements. However the best examples of mosaic flooring are under cover.
We expected to be there for an hour but we walked round all the dig sites which took us a couple of hours.
If your not able to walk far or have trouble getting about then just head to the indoor examples of mosaic flooring.
The Paphos harbour and castle are just next door to the main entrance so you can combine these all into one visit if you are only staying for a week.

At the time of visiting the entrance cost was a mere €4.50 and this proved to be one of the best value trips we undertook. The site is quite large and one should, probably, allow 3 hours to explore it in its entirety. Some fantastically well preserved mosaics and continuing archeology is unearthing further finds. Best to go reasonably early in the morning to avoid the heat.
